Health Services Provided to Currently Enrolled and Attending Students
Student Health Services (SHS) is dedicated to providing you with the health care services and resources to take care of your medical needs. From treatment of acute injuries and illnesses to health consultations and assessments, our services and resources are either free or offered at a low-cost to all currently enrolled and attending PCC students.
SHS is here to assist the student as a total person. Our major goals are:
To help students achieve and maintain optimum physical, mental, and emotional health.
To educate students toward taking responsibility for their own health.
WHO CAN USE SHS? Student Health Services is available to ALL students who are currently enrolled and attending credit classes* at PCC. Simply bring your PCC Student ID to our center to start. *Students attending noncredit classes do not pay the Student Health Fee and therefore are not eligible for student health services.
WHAT ARE THE FEES AND COSTS? Each semester, you pay a Student Health Fee as part of your enrollment at Pasadena City College (PCC). This fee covers most services at PCC’s Student Health Services, with no need for insurance or a co-pay, including:
Medical consultation with licensed health professionals
Low cost Tuberculosis skin tests and flu vaccinations (available for free during our Flu Shot Clinic events)
