Throughout February, the medical students of SNMA hosted several events in celebration of .

They started the month with a Hip Hop Dance Workshop and a community service event with Chosen 300 Ministries.

Then, during the “The Origins and Impacts of a Professionalized Field” physician panel and reception earlier this week, students had the opportunity to learn from and connect with Lewis Katz School of Medicine alumni and faculty who are championing inclusion in medicine today.

At a Diversity Dialogue session yesterday, SNMA members facilitated a discussion focused on "Hope, Healing, and Health Equity: Conversations on Black Maternal Mortality." They led their peers in thought-provoking conversations and encouraged participation, critical thinking, and the sharing of ideas.

We are proud of the SNMA students for creating interactive, collaborative, and supportive environments for open dialogue. Thank you for all your hard work to make these events possible for our community!
