This year's event honored more teachers than ever before for their accomplishments with implementing social emotional learning in their classrooms. Congratulations!

“My passion is helping students reach their creative potential to optimize their academic and workplace success,” shares Jen Katz-Buonincontro, PhD, professor in the Drexel University School of Education.

Working with undergraduate students, STAR Scholars, graduate students and post-doctoral scholars, Katz-Buonincontro champions students through the research process and encourages them to gain experience through real-world problem solving.

“At Drexel, we also don’t wait until graduation to be good problem solvers. We are do-ers, applying solutions as we go through our academic journey.”
