“Being on the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleading Squad is a dream come true. After 20+ years of dance training, including 4 years on the Drexel University Dance Team, I had the incredible opportunity to perform at Super Bowl LIX. Drexel University has fully prepared me for the busy, exciting schedule I’m living now, balancing my public health career with NFL Cheerleading," shares Erin Nipps, graduate of Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University, MPH health management and policy '24, BS public health '23.

"Outside the sidelines, I work as a Public Health Program Analyst for the City of Philadelphia, where I focus on improving the health of our communities. When the workday ends, I switch gears, bringing out my pom poms and preparing for every game at the Linc - and this past Sunday, at arguably the biggest stage for a professional dancer in the world, the Super Bowl.

It was astonishing to see the Eagles bleed green in New Orleans, with our Philly fans showing up in full force. Performing in front of 83,000 fans in the stands and 124 million watching on TV was beyond anything I could have imagined. I am a proud Drexel Alum, and I cannot wait to celebrate our team this Friday at the Parade! Go BIRDS! 💚 ”
