This site is dedicated to the sharing of history, photographs, stories, and experiences of the Allington Farm in Kochville Township Michigan. The Farm was founded by 1860 by John and Mary (nee Beridge) Allington who immigrated from England via Ontario, Canada in the late 1850s. The farmhouse and farm is now in a state of transition as old buildings are being tore down or renovated, and new buildin

gs are being built. The farm is currently rented to another farmer who grows cash crops such as soy beans, sugar beets, and cattle corn. Kochville Township is now a collegetown with Saginaw Valley State University only 2 country blocks away. The fifth generation of Allingtons now reside in the Allington "Farmhouse", and the Fouth generation resides nextdoor in the "Duplex". Recently, Aunt Irene's house on Center Road was bought by another family and beautifully renovated.
