50 Years of Ethnic Studies: Screening and Discussion of Agents of Change

Wednesday, May 1 | 12-1:30pm | UC 504

Join the Office of Diversity Engagement and Community Outreach and the University Council on Diversity and Inclusion as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the nation’s first College of Ethnic Studies at San Francisco State University. Fifty years later, we ask, in what ways have we honored the vision of students who demanded the creation of schools with academic philosophies grounded in the liberation of third world peoples? And in what ways can we re-imagine and re-energize their vision?

Space is limited, so RSVP is requested. bit.ly/AgofChange
