Dear Students-
As a Department Chair, I want to encourage each one of you to not get discouraged if you find a class and the waitlist full.
FOR ANY CLASSES AT CCSF ONLINE OR FACE TO FACE:
1) For the class or classes you are trying to register for, if the class is full and the waitlist is full, email the instructor. Let them know you would like to add the class. I would also say a quick sentence or two about why you want the class - use your own voice and do not worry about sounding formal at all!
2) On the day that the course actually opens, if you have not been able to get into the class or on the waitlist yet, submit a request to add - AND ALSO EMAIL THE INSTRUCTOR AGAIN.
3) Why email the instructor again? Well, you know how you are feeling at the end of the semester? So are we! And, we will all hopefully relax a bit over the break - it never ever hurts to re-email the instructor of the course. Again, a sentence or two - you can even say the same thing you already said.
The College is working on its technical issues and even if you find a class full right now, it may well open up again in a week or so --so keep trying.
Thank you
Prof. Erika Gentry
