We held an impactful Leadership, Strategic Planning and Team Building Workshop on this past Saturday. In addition to discussing our strategic plan we also had a “Fireside Chat” with community leaders to discuss community priorities. It was a very informative session and we look forward to continued partnerships. Charles County Teen Court is hosting a Human Trafficking Awareness Event, Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., CCSO Headquarters Building, 6915 Crain Highway, LaPlata, MD 20646.
Meet us at the FWAC tent to support a “Go-Bag” Donation Drive. Donation items must be new and unopened. Requested items include small duffle bags, cinch bags, travel sized personal hygiene products (no razors), food gift cards, keychain flashlights, socks, and slip on shoes. #humantraffickingawareness
The drawing for the 2024 Dorothy I. Heights, Soaring to New Heights, Scholarship Raffle was held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Artistic Dance Xpressions Studio in Fort Washington, Maryland. Thank you to our community partners, the Coalition for Stronger Communities (CSC), Incorporated and Mr. Bernard Miller of Miller Copying Services, for their assistance in conducting a successful raffle campaign and drawing. The winners are as follows:

Thank you to all the community members who supported the raffle fundraiser efforts. As a result of your many contributions, the Fort Washington Alumnae Chapter will be able to continue its efforts in supporting the higher education goals of students in Southern Prince George’s and Charles Counties.
