Towson SGA The Student Government Association (SGA) is the representative governing body of the undergraduate student population at Towson University.

The Student Government Association (SGA) is the representative governing body of the undergraduate student population. Working jointly with students, faculty, staff, and administration, the SGA is dedicated to improving students’ academic, social, and cultural environments. Beyond pro-actively pursuing this goal, the SGA also approves and governs student organizations and their budgets. The SGA is

supported by the undergraduate Student Government fee. Organized as an executive branch, legislative branch, and judicial branch the SGA’s student officers work diligently to better the Towson University community.

After partnering with the Ulman Foundation for the Breast Cancer Walk, SGA felt inspired to do more. That’s when we learned about the Ulman Foundation’s Holiday Gift Drive program and knew we wanted to give back in an even bigger way. This led us to being matched with the Cuevas family, where we’ve had the honor of bringing joy to Josiah, a husband and devoted father of two, who has been bravely battling cancer. Together, we’re wrapping up the year with a heart full of gratitude and an act of service to remind everyone that the spirit of giving can make all the difference.

Families come in all shapes and sizes—ours just happens to run on office supplies and 104th admin energy. From questionable answers to festive banter, we’re keeping it ‘Office’-coded this holiday season. Happy Holidays from our SGA family to yours! 🎁
