We close out International Education Week with our final Alumni spotlight shining on Zarinah El-Amiin. Her career path has taken her far from the School of Engineering but then again, Howard prepares you for any path, including the entrepreneurial one! Her travels have created many amazing stories like when walking through rural Morocco and a random Moroccan man had on a Howard t-shirt! @Zarinahofgold is now a book publisher and curates Global travel experiences for women.
We thank all of the Bison who generously shared their stories & pics this week and hope that it inspires current students to consider opportunities around the world!

Our spotlight today falls on alum Omar Davis, Civil Engineering Class of '97 graduate @howard_cae! Although we couldn't capture his full experience in this short video, it was great to hear how International Professors and classmates, in addition to his trip to Malaysia, inspired him to work beyond our borders.
From HU Chapter President of American Society of Civil Engineers to Foreign Service Officer helping to rebuild Afghanistan, his career has literally taken him around the world. His current role at the Islamic Development Bank has enabled him to build infrastructure....roads, airports & railroads, from East to West.
Where will your Howard Education take you?

It’s wonderful to hear how she’s using her language skills acquired at Howard and through studying abroad to make a global impact🇭🇹. Wishing her much success!

It’s International Education Week!🎉 To celebrate, we’re doing a daily showcase of Bison who have leveraged their Howard Education and undergrad international exposure to make a lasting impact on the world!
Today’s feature is Carille Guthrie an Architecture major @howard_cea who builds embassies around the world🏯. In addition to her own personal development and career success we love how her study abroad in Australia also got another Bison (her brother BBA ‘05) and her mother to go global!
