Meet the Student Success Team. Welcome New Bison and welcome back, returning students. Have a great Fall semester!

The pay was not to my expectations, I allowed my pride to miss out those constructive opportunities. Moreover, those jobs could potentially lead you to employment at the university after graduation. **BONUS: being permanently employed by the university, you could get a tuition waiver for your masters!
One more thing I wish I knew as a freshman, take advantage of those FREE training opportunities, professional development, workshops and/or presentations. Once after college, those opportunities are still there however you would have to pay your way! **BONUS: free is free!

When it comes to college our Peer Leader Payton shares that networking is important. Payton wishes that she knew an earlier start at networking would have been beneficial.

Gallaudet is a great place to start building your network and create opportunities for yourself. Of course, building your network will take time. Find your network by stepping out of your comfortable zone. The network you create you will have for the rest of your life.

Course Registration Starts Today!

November 8th, Course Registration begins today! Video Description: A peer leader name Payton with pink shirt enters Carlin Hall foyer and a couch sitting next to the door. The peer leader was tired from a long day, sat on the couch and immediately fell asleep. 5 hours have passed, and the alarm on her phone is going off and falls off the couch. Payton wakes up and then realizes she missed the alarm for course registration. Then questions to the camera, “Did I miss the course registration!?” The camera shakes up and down as if answering her question, saying “Yes.” In reality, she woke up out of a dream and felt relieved because it was just a dream.
