Sister Jayne Relda Taylor identifies as she/her. She is now a senior, pursuing a major in Public Health with double minors in Data Science and Biology. She works as a head lifeguard.

We are proud of our wonderful sisters, CJ Judelle Salit and Talia Miceli Boren, for being part of the Fall 2024 Triathlon season. Sister Carmelita Saucedo Yalcin is in her junior year, majoring in both Psychology and Public Health.

Last spring, she served as a Senator for the Latinx Student Union and intends to continue her involvement as an active member.

Carmelita states...”Three out of many rewarding benefits and experiences I have gained from being a part of Phi Kappa Zeta: personal growth, leadership opportunities, and the community services. It is truly incredible and inspiring to see members including me growing, sharing our goals & opportunities, and especially us giving back to the community. I could write a book about how wonderful it is to be part of this amazing organization.”

We sisters and pledges visited the Belmont-Paul Women’s Equality National Monument, where we toured the museum and learned about the journey of women’s rights—a powerful reminder to value our rights.

Sister Alyssa Jane Glennon is currently a senior majoring in Business Administration and works as an assistant volleyball coach for the Kendall Middle School team. She is also a member of the pickleball club and the Business Student Council.

Alyssa states… “The most rewarding benefit I gained from being a member of Phi Kappa Zeta is becoming part of an unbreakable sisterhood. This experience has taught me the true importance of empowerment among womxn while also reminding me to strengthen my own resilience. It has also inspired me to give back and uplift others in academic, community, and professional settings.”

Sister Esther Hassler Bister spent 5 weeks working with CorpsTHAT as part of a conservation crew in Vermont and New York. She gained valuable skills using various tools and learned many lessons. Despite only having a tent to sleep in, she feels this was definitely a rich experience. She highly recommends taking this conservation crew experience as well! 🏕️💗

Sister Jayne Relda Taylor had an awesome summer filled with adventure. She backpacked around Europe for five weeks, soaking up the hot and sunny days, experiencing new cultures, meeting people, and sharing love.💛
