I'm not sure how active this page is, but I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself. I am Jeremy Taliaferro and I have just started as the new BSM Director for WC. There are a lot of new and exciting things on the horizon for the BSM and we would love to have you join us as we help students grow in their faith and impact the world.

The Fall Semester 2021 has begun. We have had a great first week of being on campus and seeing students. We served the RA's during move in, feed the baseball team a meal, and hung out on campus. Next week, is WELCOME WEEK. We will be active serving our campus each day. Pray for Monday as we give out 100 Chick filA sandwiches, Wednesday as we serve breakfast on campus, and each day around 12 noon, as we meet students and share about BSM. If you want updates each week, I will add you to our email list.

So, I think that I am going to study the Pastoral Epistles over the Summer (June and July). If you want to join me, I would love to have you join. As of today, everything will be done virtually. I will use facebook to share thoughts throughout the study, and zoom calls to go deeper with whomever can join me. If you wouldn't mind, those interested, could you send me your email either in the comments or private message.
The tentative schedule is as follows:
June 1-15 -- 1 Timothy
June 21-July 2 -- 2 Timothy
July 15-24 -- Titus
The daily reading will be less than 1 chapter a day, zoom calls dealing with about 2 chapters per session.

I am thinking about doing a Bible Study through Ephesians this coming week. We will start on Sunday and go through the following Sunday. Here is the Schedule for the readings:
Sunday (4/26) -- Ephesians 1
Monday (4/27) -- Ephesians 2
Tuesday (4/28) -- Ephesians 3
Wednesday (4/29) -- Ephesians 4:1-16
Thursday (4/30) -- Ephesians 4:17-32
Friday (5/1) -- Ephesians 5:1-21
Saturday (5/2) -- Ephesians 5:22-6:9
Sunday (5/3) -- Ephesians 6:10-24
Everyday this week, I will post a 10 minute thought on what we are reading, by noon, posting it across the platforms that I am on. Every other day, we will have a Zoom Call at 4:30pm to discuss more in-depth of what we're reading and a Q & A time. The call will last no more than 40 minutes, with a goal of 30 minutes.
Zoom Calls will be :
Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
I will post the information about the Zoom meetings on the days between the calls, and will send the password and information to anyone interested. If this works, I will do other studies similar to this, choosing both Old and New Testament books. Have a great day today, and I am praying for you!

calling all Prayer People.... will you begin to pray daily for the new semester? School starts August 25 (August 28). We need students to become leaders and churches to engage our campus with a gospel presence. i Will try to put new prayers up throughout the week for you. Here is an update from us at the BSM. We averaged 150-200 students weekly at our Free Lunches, ministered and discipled around 24 during small groups times. We were on 3 campuses this past semester and are planning to do the same for the upcoming Spring 2016 semester. Pray for the spring...
(1) for a partner(co-laborer) at Wise County Campus.
(2) the chance of joining campuses monthly with a gathering and time of community building.
(3) A group to go to Abide, a 24 hour prayer retreat January 22-23.
(4) for God to work in 3+ groups to disciple students across our campus.

gtwr ;imxg qrbafsy.... a little off today, I can help by serving a free lunch today at coyote bsm. Lunch begins around 11:30am today, hosted by our friends at Clear Fork Baptist Church. Taco Salad !!!!!!!!! We are located at 118 E. Park Ave., Weatherford, TX.

Would anyone like to get together in the Spring? We had a small gathering last night at my house of Alumni and current students to watch the Cowboy game and play games. I was thinking of expanding it in the spring. Let me know what you are thinking?

The fall is completed.... it was a transitioning time again, we got to see new faces, built on old relationships, and began moving toward a more missional lifestyle as we are trying to show God's glory through living and loving students at WC. We increased our free lunch time to span 3 hours, making it available to more students on Wednesday. The crowds were never overwhelming, but steady. Since we were never over run with students, we had many great opportunities to share with and get to know each student.
We worked hard at the dorms, trying to do more there, because we are seeing it as a community group that needs to be reached. We used frisbee games and free food times to meet needs there. In the spring, we are planning to do some of the same, and increasing our time there too.
The Baseball team has begun their Bible study this past fall, and in the spring we will continue it. We are also getting more active in their game day times too. At home games, we are providing their pre-game meal, and on away games a goody-bag that they can travel with. If this works out, we may try to do other teams at WC too.
I hope that you are having a great Christmas season, and may the joy of Christ be with you at this time. I would love to see you if you are in town, drop by or call me when you are around. God Bless.

We are starting our semester off well. Flyers will go out in the morning advertising lunch and worship, I will lead a baseball team bible study starting next week, and our leadership team will meet tonight for the first time.
