Yesterday we celebrated the installation of VISION – an automated technology system designed to transform rotor blade maintenance, repair and training – at theMississippi Army National Guard Aviation Classification Repair Activity Depot (AVCRAD) facility in Gulfport. Industry day at Air Capital Flight Line yesterday was a success! Our military program partners had the opportunity to view the B1-B, part of a unique repair program that began in late 2023. GA-ASI recently completed 80,000 hours of full-scale fatigue testing on the MQ-9B remotely piloted aircraft at our Aircraft Structural Test and Evaluation Center in Park City, Kansas. Wichita State University

successfully completed a second lifetime of fatigue testing, totaling 80,000 hours of flight stress on a single aircraft.

Testing was conducted from January to September 2024 at Wichita State University’s National Institute for Aviation Research.

Congratulations to our friends at Teijin Renegade Materials Corp. for completing NCAMP qualification of their high-performance low-dielectric RM-2014-LDk-Tk-4581 prepreg material. B-Basis design allowables are now available for 4581 style quartz in the statistical analysis report. Dielectric properties (X-band) are available alongside mechanical properties. Prepreg is available under the NMS201/1 NCAMP material specification.
