Thank you to all of the Brothers who were in attendance at the area 4 meeting. I would also like to thank my Speakers and the KMF for making it a success. I feel the discussion was well received and gave us opportunities for improvement. Thank you Brother Young as always for your push for community involvement. If you were not able to make it I am sure one of those in attendance can share their experience. The Area’s main theme was Unity. But the most important part for me was seeing the fellowship and listening to all the Brothers sharing what was going on in their lodges.

W.B. Robert Miller’s memorial service will be held at Midian Shrine 130 N Topeka on July 19th at 7pm. It will be hosted by North Star Lodge and the Midian Shrine Electraglide Elite. It will be open to all friends and family. Robert has touched so many people during his time here and we want to honor and cherish our memories and moments that our lives were enriched by him.

Well Table lodge is set up now to start preparing the meal for tonight. Spaghetti w/meat sauce, salad, garlic bread, and 2 Bob “Crocker” Pollard cakes.

The Table Lodge dates back to the 15th century. In Kansas it was adopted to be used in lodge on special occasions. Its primary purpose is to provide good Masonic fellowship.

This Saturday 9am if you have not rsvp’d with Sunflower please do they are trying to get a head count for lunch which will be prepared by Rainbow Girls. Look forward to a great day of learning and fellowship. I know RW Jim Miller will pack the day full of excellent instruction.

The Grand Architect the universe has called the Worshipful Master of our Lodge, W. Robert Miller, home. He passed away Saturday night. Please keep his wife, family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Services honoring him will be announced as soon as they are available.

We know there is a lot going on in Wichita this weekend. There is a Midian Shrine toy run and there is Masonic Funeral training but guess what? No matter where you find yourself you still have the opportunity to get your fill on fish and fellowship afterwards. Hope to see you this weekend.

It was a great night tonight and a very busy one for our Worshipful Master Robert Miller. It was good to see him up and in great spirits.
