Thank you Marion County for showing up to our annual Marion County FAMU NAA Student Send- off and Membership Recruitment program.

We had over 50 in attendance and we had several current FAMU students to come back and speak to our scholarship recipients.

Today, we visited our Florida State Senators and House of Representatives for FAMU 🐍 Day at the Capitol. We met with many people to advocate for Marion County Students and Mother FAMU!

Thank you to every alumni member that traveled to Tallahassee to advocate for Marion County. Special thank you to our designated Rattler Scholars: Yasmin Newman, Tihara Reid, Naviah Santiago, Ry Price and Kasiyah Rogers(all School of Nursing Students) for joining the Marion Squad to tell the student aspect of our legislative budget requests. Job well done!

ICYMI: The FAMU NAA is on the books for $25,000!

Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, Tiffani-Dawn Sykes, has asked the FAMU NAA to commit $25K to assist in the compensation of football coaches.

During tonight’s emergency board meeting, the NAA voted to commit $25K per year for the next three years to this fundraiser!

The Marion County Chapter of FAMU NAA supports our students.

Tuesday, we fixed donated items for each student….10 bags later, we delivered the gift bags to each Marion County student in Tallahassee, Florida!

We would like to thank all of you for your continued support of FAMU and the FAMU National Alumni Association!

Because of you, we were able to surpass our goal of raising $10,000 during our 12 Days of Giving Fundraiser.

In just 12 days, we were able to raise $13,507.03!

The Marion County Chapter of FAMU NAA represented at the 2023 Careers and College Expo which was hosted by the Marion County Public Schools and the College of Central Florida.

We spoke to several potential students for FAMU. 🐍🐍🐍🐍

Of course, we had a visitor from Bethune Cookman University who wanted to learn about our great programs on campus 😼😂! At the end of the day, we are all HBCU family!
