Education (CEE) would like to invite you to the Korean Carnival at UTAR PJ Campus. The carnival is organised jointly with the Korean Language House and supported by Kyung Hee University, South Korea and Korean Tourism Organisation (KTO).

Various exciting, fun as well as educational activities have been arranged to
ensure a wonderful time for you. Coupons for Korean products and food may be purchased at CEE counter during office hours or at the carnival. Freebies will be given to those who purchase the coupons before the carnival.

CEE will be organizing a public talk on 'Chinese Brush Painting - Creating the
Malaysian Identity'. This talk will discuss the identity of Chinese Brush
Painting in Malaysia. The speaker is Mr. Sum Kwai Fong, a local well-known Chinese
Brush Painting and President of 1 Malaysia Artists Association. There will an
exhibition and live Chinese brush painting demostration by the speaker.

UTAR 10TH ANNIVERSARY TORCH RUN
– POINTERS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS

The Organiser is expecting a huge turnout for the Torch Run on 14 January 2012 (Saturday) at UTAR Perak Campus and to ensure a smooth organisation of the event, all participants are gently reminded of the following pointers:

REGISTRATION
1. Please be present at the Heritage Hall frontage area (the open field) at 6.30 am for registration. Please be at the registration area at 6.30 am or earlier to ensure a smooth registration process

2. Please ensure that you receive the UTAR 10th Anniversary cap and the Goodies Bag coupon upon registration.

3. Upon registration, kindly gather at Zone B Car Park (next to the registration area) which is the assembly area for all the participants. Please remain at the area until further announcement is made.

4. After registration, there will be a briefing session at 7.15am and which is followed by the flagging-off ceremony at 7.25am.

ATTIRE
1. All participants should come in proper/suitable attire and shoes for the run. It is suggested that all participants are to wear light-coloured t-shirts.

2. All UTAR students are encouraged to wear UTAR t-shirts.

CAR PARK
1. Zone A Car Park (near Heritage Hall) is reserved for VIPs and all invited guests. It will only open for participants / staff members / students after all the other car parks are full and if the parking bays are still available.

2. Zone B Car Park is a 'No Entry' zone as it is used as the assembly area for all participants.

3. All participants / staff members / students will be directed to park their cars at Zone C, D, F and G by the security guards on duty. Zone C is to be fully occupied first before the other car parks (Zone D, F and G) are open accordingly in stages. Please follow the security guards’ instructions as well as the directional signage.

4. All UTAR Staff members and students who drive on the event day are encouraged to enter the campus via East Gate.

5. All participants / staff members / students are reminded to arrive early in order to avoid any traffic congestion and parking inconvenience.

The Centre for Extension (CEE), UTAR is giving out free tickets (worth RM88.00) to Joey Yap's seminar on Feng Shui and Astrology for 2012.

Those who sign up for any programmes (short courses, public courses, part-time and professional programmes) offered by CEE before 9 January 2012 will be given a FREE ticket to the seminar.

You may choose the Cantonese seminar on Saturday 14 January 2012, or the English seminar on Sunday 15 January 2012. Both seminars are held at the KL Convention Centre.

Students who have the unused RM0.70 bus ticket can exchange for RM0.80 bus ticket by topping up RM0.10 each for unused RM0.70 bus ticket at Division of Finance counter. This arrangement is valid from 13 December 2011 until 15 February 2012.

Finally, this degree programme has been designed in accordance with the requirements and conditions as laid down by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) under the blueprint titled Halatuju 2 (The Government's Blueprint for Professional Accounting). This should facilitate graduates seeking to become a chartered accountant in Malaysia to achieve and meet their long term goals and aspirations.
Can anyone explain clearly about this? i concern about the membership of MIA..i need take exam again for membership after i graduate the 4yr degree?
Hmm..I have a question I want to ask..UTAR Sungai Long campus actually do there have many students?and where are the place that students stayed?and for the transport...isn't not so convenient..i mean if wanna go out to KL other place?^^
