The heart of Sydney city is transformed into a light playground, brimming with magnificent and meaningful light installations and projections ๐คฉ๐คฉ. In 2022, Vivid Sydney explores what defines the character of great cities ๐๐. What makes cities so unique and such powerful catalysts for change, and what makes us so drawn to them ๐ค? The team comes from faculties spanning Engineering, Art & Design, and Built Environment. UNSW Illuminate empowers students to apply their engineering skills to large-scale, professional projects.
Past projects have included designing and actualising an installation for VIVID Sydney. UNSW Illuminate also collaborates with local communities and the university in projects featured across NSW.
