For those that have not heard but Alton “Jerry” Warren recently passed away. Jerry and his wife Carolyn were long time friends, donors and sponsors for many of our event. His company, Reservoir Geophysical, was the title sponsor of the Bill Yeoman Scholarship Golf Tournament for over 10 years. He was a very special friend to many of us. Here is information about his services.

A memorial service for Jerry will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 1805 W Alabama St., Houston, Texas 77098 with a reception to follow.

Hey Everybody!!! Go Coogs!! We have been working this summer to bring you another year of amazing tailgates!! This year we are partnering with Architecture, Hilton, and Bauer to bring one big constituent alumni tailgate!! We will still be located at Party on the Plaza but are gearing up for a rowdy tailgate season! Please join us before the game for food, drinks, and camaraderie! One thing this year is that we have a promo code for you to use to get in the Party on the Plaza (and our tailgate) for $5/person. It will be $15/person at the door so make sure to take advantage of the promo code to get in PoP (and select Fort Bend as your alumni group). There will be a different code per game so be on the lookout for our posts!! There will be no further fee once you pay to get in PoP!

We will be sending an email looking for sponsors because we still want to offset costs to give out more in scholarships. Stay tuned for that.

Hey everybody!! Go Coogs! In case you haven't heard, we are having our Annual Meeting next Thursday, May 16th at the UH Sugar Land campus in the Brazos Hall at 5:30. There will be food catered by Charlies’ and Company with beer, wine and water available. Our speaker is still TBD but we will be voting a new Executive Board in place and let everyone know what we are up to! Hope to see you there!

New UH Football coach, Willie Fritz and Bill Yeoman, Jr getting to know each other at the 28th Annual Bill Yeoman Scholarship Golf Tournament on Feb 26.

Thank you Coach Fritz for coming out to speak to the players and to Bill Yeoman, Jr and the Yeoman family for their continuing support.

Our tournament this year raised $16,000 to be awarded to Ft Bend County high school seniors attending UH, Central Campus starting in Aug, 2024 or applied to our three endowed scholarships that help ensure our continuing help to Ft Bend County students.
