Abhilashi University Abhilashi University is a
Government recognized University with a right to
confer degrees as per the Section 2(f) and 22(1) of the UGC
Act 1956.

Abhilashi University Mandi at Chailchowk has been
established in the year 2014 by the Himachal
Pradesh Government vide Ordinance No. 3 of
2014 dated 14.08.2014. The campus of the University is located at Chailchowk which
is at a close distance from Nerchowk in Mandi District (H.P)
and is surrounded by a number of villages having all types
of live stock; terraced fields full of seasonal and o

ff seasonal
crops; pine, Deodar and all types of fruit trees which make
the University a perfect destination for studies of agricultural
and Ayurvedic courses by providing a natural laboratory for
experimentation. Further, the University is located at such a
place which is not only health-worthy but a true environment
for studies. The aforesaid was the forethought of the Abhilashi
Educational Society for selecting such a beautiful location of
the University. There are a number of places worth visiting nearby
the University such as Janjehli Valley, Nerchowk valley,
Sundernager and Mandi towns. One can also enjoy snowfall
once a while during the winter season. The fresh and pollution
free air of this region keeps the minds of the students fresh
and help them to concentrate on their studies and beat the
crowd.
