Celebrating the Class of 2026 at the Dubai College of Tourism Graduation ceremony!

Our graduates marked an incredible milestone surrounded by their families, friends and faculty who supported them along the way.

We were honoured to celebrate with H.E. Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM), alongside academic and industry professionals Ziad Azzam, Charles Sutherland and Emma Banks, whose presence and words of encouragement made the occasion even more meaningful.

A special mention also goes to our student speakers, Fatma Khoory and Vusile Mhlanga, for their inspiring speeches and for representing the Class of 2026 with pride.

To our graduates, we’re so proud of how far you’ve come, and we can’t wait to see what you achieve next.

Want a career, or a university degree? With a DCT diploma, you don't have to choose.

Some students want to start working as soon as possible, while others want to continue studying toward a university degree.

But at Dubai College of Tourism, students can do both: gain practical industry experience first, then continue their education through pathways with Edinburgh Napier University (ENU) in Scotland or Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) in Cyprus.

Both ways, students don't start over. They build on what they've already learned and carry their experience into the professional world.

هل تريد بدء مسيرتك المهنية أم الحصول على شهادة؟ مع دبلوم كلية دبي للسياحة، لست مضطرًا للاختيار بينهما.

يرغب بعض الطلاب في بدء العمل في أقرب وقت ممكن، بينما يفضّل آخرون مواصلة دراستهم للحصول على شهادة.

في كلية دبي للسياحة، يمكن للطلاب الجمع بين الاثنين، من خلال اكتساب الخبرة العملية في المجال أولًا، ثم مواصلة تعليمهم عبر المسارات المتاحة مع جامعة إدنبرة نابير (ENU) في اسكتلندا أو جامعة شرق البحر المتوسط (EMU) في قبرص.

وفي كلا المسارين، لا يبدأ الطلاب من جديد، بل يعتمدون على ما اكتسبوه من معرفة، وينقلون خبراتهم في مسيرتهم المهنية.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

What an incredible celebration of our Dubai College of Tourism graduates, their achievements and the exciting futures that lie ahead!

Everything they learned in the classroom and developed through hands-on industry experience brought them to this important milestone.

The ceremony brought together graduates from programmes in Tourism, Hospitality, Events and Culinary Arts ranging from Entry Level Hospitality to Level 3 qualifications to Culinary Apprenticeships to Level 5 Advanced Diplomas, alongside DCT and industry leaders who joined us to celebrate this occasion. 

To the Class of 2026, congratulations! We are incredibly proud of all you have achieved and can’t wait to see where your DCT journey takes you next.

Our Culinary Apprenticeship Programme gives aspiring chefs the opportunity to earn while they learn, combining structured learning with hands-on experience in professional kitchens with industry partners.

In this video, we follow the journey of apprentices Nipuni Siriwardana and Mary Anne Comia placed with Gates Hospitality at their restaurant Reform Social and Grill Dubai, from their first days on the programme through to successful completion.

Congratulations to our apprentices on reaching this important milestone in their culinary careers. With the support of industry partners such as Gates Hospitality, our apprentices gain the experience and confidence to take their next steps in the industry.

Three days of learning, connecting and putting knowledge into practice at the Future Hospitality Summit.

From the Future Hospitality Summit World Hackathon, where our five students identified an untapped opportunity, developed a commercially viable concept and pitched their idea to a panel of hospitality and tourism industry experts, to hearing directly from senior hospitality leaders at Pathways for Future Leaders, our students stepped into real industry conversations, worked alongside mentors and explored what’s next for tourism and hospitality.

DCT Senior Manager, Elham Bolooki, also joined a panel discussion on “Educating Tomorrow’s Hospitality Leaders: Rethinking Tourism Education for a Changing World,” sharing perspectives on how tourism education can evolve alongside a changing industry.

A special congratulations to our five students, Vince Van De Wiele, Juliana Abrogar, Samiha Saleh, Vincent Varde and Maleehah Suleman, for winning the Hackathon after three days of collaboration, innovation and problem-solving.

What does the first year at Dubai College of Tourism look like?

The first year of college should give students more than academic knowledge. It should help them understand how their chosen industry works and begin developing the skills they will need for it.

Whether it’s through internships and industry exposure or academic support and career guidance, students at Dubai College of Tourism are supported as they adjust to college life and start thinking more responsibly about their future.

For parents, this means your child is involved in hands-on activities and events early so they can build the confidence they need for a successful career.
