UQ NAMSA The University of Queensland Nursing and Midwifery Student Association 🩺💜

NAMSA aims to:

1. We always love to hear from you, our fellow students.

NAMSA is a student association for all Nursing and Midwifery students of the University of Queensland, managed and run by Nursing and Midwifery students of UQ. Our membership and managing committee consist of students from all year levels who are studying either undergraduate or master degrees. Unite the undergraduate, master and postgraduate Nursing and Midwifery students of UQ.

2. Provide Nursing and Midwifery students with an association which represents their interests and views on campus

3. Facilitate social and academic engagement within the Nursing and Midwifery student community. We plan to achieve these aims through hosting social and academic events throughout the university year, providing social cohesion to students. Through being known, available and approachable to all Nursing and Midwifery students at UQ. By providing a platform for Nursing and Midwifery students at UQ, being a link between the university, the School of Nursing and Midwifery, and us, the students. Whether it is feedback, ideas or suggestions, willingness to volunteer or just to have a chat, please never hesitate to contact us. The NAMSA student committee can be contacted via Facebook.

Don’t know what to do with your scrubs, now that you are graduating?

📚 We have a community library for students. Our library is here to make uni life that little bit easier, with resources available for students who may need some extra support.

📍 How to find us:
Come to the Chamberlain Building → head up to Level 3 → walk down the hallway → you’ll come across another door leading into the entryway, where you’ll find our library!

Everything in the library has been donated to support fellow students, so please take what you need🫶🏼

And if you have items you no longer need, donations are always appreciated and can help another student in our community 💌
