Congratulations to Hemdah Cosplay and Caleb from Heroes Odyssey: Larp Brisbane Queensland! 2 of the winners from the ManaFest Cosplay Competition! How fortuitous we had a brave knight on hand to court the beautiful Snow White! Looking forward to seeing more shots from Steamkittens.

After a day of flight delays and lost luggage I am finally home from Manafest in Queenslands Sunny Coast. This event was a new part of the long running Horizon Arts Festival and had a wonderful turn out for its first year. The winners of the individual and group cosplay categories won a shoot the following day with me at various locations in the area. The final location was Cotton Tree where this image was taken during the amazing sunset with Hemdah Cosplay as Snow White (go follow her) and Caleb from Heroes Odyssey: Larp Brisbane Queensland Huge thanks to DeAnna Adams for organising , Henchwench and Black Apple Cosplay for assisting and the tireless efforts of KPeter Putty Davis - Horizon Festival

A big congratulations to Hemdah Cosplay for winning the Cosplay Artist: Avant Garde award at Horizon Festival's Manafest last weekend! Keep an eye out for this girl! She is going to take over the cosplay community, I just know it! We will post some pics from her photo shoot as soon as we can. :) Big thanks to Black Apple Cosplay Steamkittens Putty's Cosplay Adventures Henchwench and Heroes Odyssey: LARP for a wonderful photo shoot day. The hours went by quickly when you are surrounded by good passionate people! :)

Six hours shooting the winners from yesterdays manafest which was the cosplay comp prize. That's to horizon for inviting me and to everyone at today's shoot. We got rained on, we had 3 amazing locations but we got some awesome shots.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the first Manafest! We had loads of fun! Well and truly amazed by the results of our community mural: the Ap-POP-riation Wall! They lost count but over 200 ManaFest visitors contributed to this! Together, I would say we a are a pretty talented bunch!

Opening ceremony for Horizon Festival completed. Now, time to prepare for Manafest tomorrow! There is a wet weather contingency plan so you have no excuse! All the guests will be there rain or shine so come enjoy the fun!
