Our colleagues at the La Trobe Health Clinic Audiology Service are offering free diagnostic hearing assessments throughout 2026 for both children and adults:

* Hearing assessments for children 8 months and above
* School readiness hearing assessments for children aged 4–5
* Hearing assessments for adults

Over 8 weekly sessions (2 hours each), you'll learn practical strategies to:

✔️ Build meaningful relationships
✔️ Manage social anxiety
✔️ Feel more comfortable in everyday social situations

Participants also receive individual coaching from a Provisionally Registered Psychologist and self-help resources to practice skills between sessions.

Pregnancy brings many changes, and it's important to look after your emotional wellbeing as well as your physical health.

Our Pregnancy Wellbeing Group is a supportive 6-week program
where you'll learn practical strategies to:
✔️ Better understand and manage anxiety
✔️ Develop self-care and relaxation skills
✔️ Prepare for parenthood
✔️ Plan for birth and the postnatal period

Through psychoeducation, group discussion and practical activities, you'll gain skills to support your wellbeing during pregnancy, birth and beyond.

The La Trobe University Psychology Clinic will close at the George Singer Building on 10 June 2026 and reopen in the new Health Clinic Building from 16 June 2026.

We're still located on the La Trobe University Bundoora campus, just in a new, purpose-built facility with dedicated clinic parking and improved accessibility.

We’re excited to share a research opportunity from our colleagues at La Trobe University’s Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre

They are currently seeking participants for a study exploring whether sensory vests can help reduce anxiety in autistic children (aged 8–12 years). The study involves a mix of in-person visits and online participation over a 4-month period.
