Our Diploma of Animation Production is in its third year, and our classrooms are buzzing with the next generation of animators, including students like Qiyuan.

The diploma equips students with the foundational skills every animator needs from the 12 principles of animation to 3D animation and stop motion. With those foundations in place, graduates are ready to step into the workforce or take the next step into the Bachelor of Creative Production in Animation at UTS.

Souad Cheikho cried when she saw her ATAR. A week later, she was screaming with happiness.

What happened in between? A late-night Google search, an application to she almost didn't send, and a pathway she never knew existed.

Souad had her heart set on studying Journalism at UTS, but her results said otherwise. A Diploma of Communication at UTS College led her to a future she never could have predicted.

Access to Canvas has now been fully restored for UTS College students and staff from Tuesday 12 May 2026.

We have reactivated Canvas after conducting our own extensive checks, while collaborating with authorities and the Canvas vendor, Instructure.

Canvas is restored, but we need to remain vigilant. Please follow these simple rules at all times:
- Check and review your Canvas content and notify your Academic Coordinator if anything appears unusual or incorrect.
- Be alert for phishing or scam emails or messages, particularly those claiming to be from UTS College or Canvas and asking you to log in, reset passwords, or confirm a data breach.
- Do not click on any suspicious links.
- Report anything suspicious to the ITDS Support Desk via the ITDS online portal or phone them at (+61) 2 9218 7000.
