The Victoria Model United Nations 2013 (VicMUN) is a youth conference that invites university-aged attendees to step into the United Nations scene as an international delegate. The three-day conference will be packed with committee sessions, keynote speakers and wildly dignified social events. We welcome an approximate total of 80 delegates to be organised into four committees. Delegates are expec

ted to represent the diplomatic, political and economic positions and interests of their assigned countries. Each committee will discuss and debate topics of global concern. Committee topics are varied, topical and of critical importance. This year’s VicMUN focuses on issues of gender equality and cultural diplomacy. The three-day conference provides attendees with networking opportunities while both in session and off. VicMUN will be held on February 20-22 at The University of Melbourne.
