🌏 Cool It: The Climate and Us
fortnightly with Prof. Wasim Saman

Interested in some of the issues affecting our everyday lives? Cool It: The Climate and Us is back for Term 4, with four topics to get us thinking, talking and sharing ideas.

📅 Starting Tuesday 13 October
🕐 1.00pm
📍 Room 2

All members are welcome to come along and join the discussion.

Over the term, we’ll look at:

☀️ It’s going to be a hot summer
Why are heatwaves happening, what impact do they have, and how can we better live with them?

🚗 Electric Vehicles
Are they really worth buying?

💡 Why do electricity and gas bills keep going up?
And how can we make sure we’re getting the best deal?

🤖 Data Centres
Looking at the good and not-so-good aspects of artificial intelligence and the growing demand for data centres.

Come along, have a listen, and join in the conversation. Everyone is welcome!
