Yesterday, our incredible Cert IV students came together to create their own meaningful event in support of the Cancer Councilโ€™s Biggest Morning Tea. ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒป๐ŸŽ€

In a beautiful show of unity and awareness, the students chose to wear pink shirts to recognise breast cancer awareness and gathered together in a field of sunflowers to reflect the iconic yellow theme of the Cancer Council.

With almost 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85, this cause is deeply personal for many within our Tocal community. A number of our students have experienced the impact of cancer within their own families and friendship networks, making todayโ€™s act of support even more powerful.

Moments like these remind us that support can be shown in many ways, through connection, compassion, awareness, and community. No one should face cancer alone, and today our students showed just how strong community can be when people come together.

Our Cert IV students would also like to remind everyone that this month is an important fundraising month for the Cancer Council. If you would like to support the life-changing work they do, donations can be made via the Cancer Council website.
