An Introduction to the Significance of Education

It is the simple process of learning and knowing. It is not restricted to school textbooks only. Education starts from the mother’s lap. It is the parents, family, which inculcate good manners and make responsible citizens out of their children. It is the first school of the children, but the formal education starts from the school, where they learn how to behave and understand what is happening around them.

Education is important for everyone in the world. It makes one able to understand what is happening around us logically and clearly. An educated person has the ability to take viable decisions and make right moves at the right time. Human existence without education is just like fecund land. Education not only enables individuals to put their potential to best use and do something productive in the upcoming future, but also plays a main role in shaping an individual to be a better, responsible citizen and an active member of the society. An educated person with self-confidence and precise moves knows how to transform the world. Education provides the ladder for achieving success in life and enables us to utilize skills and caliber in a constructive way. Therefore, it’s the prime responsibility of an individual to get educated and live a prosperous life while being a responsible citizen. However, government and civil societies have made the process of education simple by providing basic facilities and making going to the school necessary for everyone up to 10th class.
What Is The Relevance Of Education As An Individual?
1. Ensure a productive future.
Attaining good and higher education promises a good future as education provides a good character to a person. Good education enables one to make best use of one’s skills and talent and helps in fetching the most competitive jobs. Importance of education can be realized in the height achieved by great and famous personalities in different fields of education.
2. Opens New Vistas
The magnitude of education lies in its ability to broaden the mental scope and open new vistas that are inaccessible otherwise. It enables one to understand different dimensions of a particular point-of-view, which an uneducated person cannot. It helps in making a person tolerant and humble, and at the same time removes the darkness of ignorance. This is the ultimate goal of education.
3. Helps in Decision-Making
Education broadens the framework of the mind and enables us to take the right decisions at right times. In every sphere of life, we are supposed to take right decisions that might be very tough and challenging. Education gives us the understanding of choosing the right over wrong and thereby preventing grave losses.
4. Bolsters Confidence
Self-belief is the most important trait in making a good human being and education helps in augmenting the self-confidence, fostering positive outlook and allowing us to rely on ourselves.
What Is The Relevance Of Education In Terms Of Societal Roles?
In today’s day and age, huge emphasis is laid on higher education. Basically society is in need of people with higher education for the betterment of people as a whole and for fulfillment of various positions in the society that can benefit the society.
1. Spreads awareness
It is proper education that spreads awareness about right and wrong. It informs us about our rights and the services we can access; at the same time emphasizing on the duties entrusted upon us by the society.
2. Makes Better Citizens
It is education that opens our mind and expands our horizons, which plays a crucial role in shaping us to be good and responsible citizens. Education helps us to learn about our culture and our history, and subsequently imbibe those values to become better people.

Why Education is Important in our life?

It is very easy to explain importance of education. No human beings are able to survive properly without education. By the means of education only one’s potential can be used to maximum extent. Education tells men how to think, how to work properly, how to make decision. Through education only one can make separate identity. It is most important in life like our basic need foods, clothe and shelter. With the beginning we learnt how to interact with others, how to make friends because of education only. As I remember when my parents had enrolled my name in school not only I learnt the alphabets and numbers but also I made friends, interacted with them with teachers.

With further development you were faced with the sense of competition and desire and other such emotions and feelings, you also learnt to control these emotions and feelings. And also teaches how to act in different situations. Education is not just restricted to teaching a person the basic academics, say computers, mathematics, geography or history education is a much larger term.

If you want to find out the impact of education on any individuality, you better do an intense observation to the ways of well-educated people and then compare them with an illiterate man. You would get a clear picture of the education and its accurate concept. Education is one of the important factors which formulate the persona of a person. Education is a productive and beneficial factor in a person’s life. It is everyone’s right to get. The training of a human mind is not complete without education. Only because of education a man are able to receive information from the external humanity, to notify him with past and receive all essential information concerning the present.

When one travels around the world, one observes to what an extraordinary degree human nature is the same, whether in India or Australia, London, Europe or America.
Conservative education makes independent thinking extremely complicated. If we are being educated merely to achieve distinction, to get a better job, to be more efficient, to have wider domination over others, then our lives will be shallow and empty. If we are being educated only to be scientists, to be scholars wedded to books, or specialists addicted to knowledge, then we shall be contributing to the destruction and misery of the world.

We may be highly educated, but if we are without meaningful combination of thought and feeling, our lives are incomplete and clashing. Education develops a meaningful outlook on life.

The individual are different but to accentuate the differences and to encourage the development of a definite type education is must.

Education is not just a matter of training the mind. Training makes for efficiency, but it does not bring about completeness. Knowledge and efficiency are necessary, which brings up by education.

Education should help us to discover lasting values; unfortunately, the present system of education is making us submissive, emotionless and deeply thoughtless.
Systems, whether educational or political, are not changed without explanation; they are transformed when there is a fundamental change in ourselves. The individual is of first importance, not the system; and as long as the individual does not understand the total process of himself, no system can bring order and peace to the world.
