The past week has been filled with remarkable achievements for EDDC.

First, our Joint General Secretary (Bangla Debate), Noor M Mamun, and PR Secretary, Ayeman Bhuiyan, were respectively selected as Vice President and Office Secretary of FRDC.

We are also delighted to announce that our Organizing Secretary (Documentation), Siyam Ahmed, emerged as the Champion in the Extempore Speech Competition at the 12th DEH Inter-University Student Conference and Cultural Competition, organized by ULAB.

And the achievements do not end there. Our Senior Executive Member, Sultanur Arafin Akash, secured third place in the "Barowari" segment of "Shaheed Smarok Bitarka Protijogita 2026", organized by DUCSU.

We are immensely proud to have such talented individuals as a part of EDDC. We congratulate these young achievers on their well-deserved accomplishments and wish them continued success in all their future endeavours.

“কোটা না মেধা?” শীর্ষক স্লোগানে শুরু হওয়া একটি বৈষম্যবিরোধী আন্দোলন যখন মাস না ঘুরতেই দেশ সংস্কারের হুংকারে রূপ নেয়, তখন বছর পেরিয়েও প্রশ্ন থেকে যায়–সেই আকাঙ্ক্ষার বাস্তবায়ন প্রকৃতপক্ষে কোন উপায়ে সম্ভব?

তাইতো মুক্তবুদ্ধির বিকাশের স্বার্থে যুক্তির তর্ক হোক; আর সেই যুক্তির লড়াইয়ের মধ্য দিয়েই বিনির্মিত হোক নতুন দেশ গড়ার কৌশল।

Today, we remember the courage of those who stood against injustice and the sacrifices that shaped a defining chapter in our nation's history. Their resilience reminds us that meaningful change is born through unity, conviction, and an unwavering commitment to justice.
