was presented today, 8 May 2026, in the Renewable and Green Energy Track of the International Conference on Electronics and Informatics (ICEI 2026), organized by the Bangladesh Electronics and Informatics Society at Atomic Energy Center, Dhaka.

This paper is an important contribution to renewable energy research because it compares real solar PV system performance with both simulation-based and machine-learning-based predictions. For readers interested in solar energy, the study is meaningful because it does not only discuss theoretical performance but also evaluates actual yearly energy yield from a rooftop on-grid photovoltaic system in Bangladesh. The comparison with PVSYST and machine learning predictions makes the paper stronger, as it helps identify gaps between expected and real performance. Such analysis can support better planning, design, and forecasting of rooftop solar projects in Bangladesh. The work is especially relevant in the national context, where renewable energy integration is becoming increasingly important for sustainable development and energy security.

A Memorable Evening at ICEI 2026

A team from Atish Dipankar University of Science & Technology came together for a charming photoshoot during the conference dinner of ICEI 2026, organized by BEIS at the Atomic Energy Centre. The moment beautifully reflected the academic bonding, research enthusiasm, and collaborative spirit shared by faculty members, researchers, students, and volunteers representing ADUST.
