The historic labor movements, such as the May 1st, 1886 event in Chicago, exemplify the ongoing fight for worker rights. International Workers' Day stands as a solemn reminder to honor and safeguard the rights of those who have shaped human history through their labor. Today, the Notre Dame English Club humbly acknowledges the pivotal role of workers in human civilization and stands in solidarity with those who have fought for their rights. Let us collectively raise our voices in support of all oppressed workers worldwide.
