The North South University (NSU) Pharmaceutical Club, in collaboration with the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, successfully brought together students, innovators, and the wider pharmaceutical community for the 13th season of City Bank Presents Pharma Fest 2026, co-powered by ZEEHO CF MOTO. Held alongside the International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences (ICPS 2026) and marking the department’s 20th anniversary, the festival took center stage with a vibrant program highlighting academic excellence, student creativity, and sustainable practices within the pharmaceutical industry. ICPS 2026, organized in partnership with the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, provided an
international academic platform under the theme of Innovations in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The Department of Media, Communication, and Journalism (MCJ) at North South University successfully hosted the MCJ Research Talk Series featuring insightful research presentations by Anika Tahsin, Lecturer, Department of English and Humanities, ULAB, and Md Shahjahan Hossain, a student of MCJ, NSU.

The talks explored the representation of monsoon and sexual violence towards Ghetus in Ghetu Putro Komola and the impact of short-form social media content on attention span.

The session brought together research, critical perspectives, and meaningful academic discussions, contributing to a vibrant culture of knowledge sharing and scholarly engagement.
