𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗶𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗵𝘂𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼-𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗔𝗣

Professor Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, a distinguished academician and Dean of the School of Pharmacy, has been appointed as the new Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Asia Pacific (UAP).
The appointment was officially confirmed through a memo issued by the Ministry of Education on October 20. The nomination received the approval of the Honourable President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the Chancellor of UAP.
With an illustrious academic and research career spanning over 27 years, Professor Dr. Bhuiyan brings a wealth of expertise in pharmaceutical sciences. He is widely recognized for his contributions to molecular pharmacology, pharmaceutical biotechnology, and curriculum development.
Dr. Bhuiyan earned his PhD in Pharmacy from Niigata University of Pharmacy & Applied Life Sciences in Japan. Prior to that, he completed both his Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degrees from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Throughout his career, he has remained actively engaged in the global pharmaceutical community. He is a member of the Japanese Pharmacological Society (International), Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Society, Pharmacy Graduate Association, and the Dhaka University Pharmacy Alumni Association.
His appointment as Pro-Vice Chancellor marks a new chapter in UAP’s academic leadership. The university community has warmly welcomed the decision, anticipating that his experience and vision will further strengthen UAP’s commitment to excellence in higher education and research.

On November 19, 2024, the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) proudly hosted MBA Night 2024 by UAP MBA Club at the UAP Auditorium—a sophisticated evening that brought together students, faculty, and distinguished guests in a celebration of excellence and camaraderie.

The event was graced by the presence of esteemed leaders, including Ms. Tashmeem Shayera Moyeen, Senior Vice Chairperson of the UAP Board of Trustees, whose inspiring address underscored the value of holistic development and the pursuit of excellence in both academic and extracurricular endeavors.

Adding to the evening's significance, luminaries such as Mr. Alamzeb Farjad Ahmed, Professor Dr. Qumrul Ahsian, and Dr. M. A. Baqui Khalily, along with other prominent figures, lent their presence and support—reflecting the strength and vision of UAP’s academic and leadership community.

MBA Night 2024 stood as a testament to UAP’s commitment to fostering achievement, unity, and cultural vibrancy. It was an evening of inspiration and celebration, reinforcing the unique spirit that defines the UAP family.

The MBA & EMBA FEST 2023 was held at the UAP Auditorium, organized by the UAP MBA Business Club. We had the privilege of welcoming the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan of the University of Asia Pacific - UAP as our Chief Guest.

In attendance were our distinguished Dean of the School of Business, Dr. M. A. Baqui Khalily, as well as the Associate Professor and Head of the DBA program, Dr. Jesmin Sultana. We were also graced by the presence of Assistant Professor and Coordinator for MBA and EMBA program, Mohammad Aminul Islam, and the Professor and Register In-Charge, Professor Shahriyar Anam.

Further enhancing the occasion were the contributions of Associate Professor Sarwar Razzaq Chowdhury and Associate Professor Dr. Mahbubul Haque. It was truly a splendid evening, marking a significant milestone for the MBA program.
