🎓 School of Pharmacy Orientation – Summer 2026 | 33rd Batch

The School of Pharmacy, BRAC University successfully organized the Freshers’ Orientation Program for the Summer 2026 semester, welcoming the 33rd Batch to the School of Pharmacy community and the beginning of their journey in pharmacy.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our new students to meet their faculty members, seniors, alumni, and fellow classmates while getting a glimpse of the exciting journey ahead.

The event was graced by our Honorable Chairperson, Professor Dr. Sharmind Neelotpol, who shared her thoughts with the freshers and led the oath-taking ceremony. We were also delighted to welcome our Special Guest and alumnus, Qazi Ashrafur Rahman Abir, Patient Journey Partner, Oncology, Roche Bangladesh Ltd., who shared valuable insights and experiences from his career in the pharmaceutical industry.

Professor Muhammad Asaduzzaman welcomed the freshers with warm and inspiring words; Dr. Nishat Zareen Khair spoke about the different career paths and opportunities in pharmacy; and Ms. Namara Mariam Chowdhury introduced the students to the code of conduct and important academic guidelines.

The School of Pharmacy, BRAC University, encourages all its students to actively participate in the International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences (ICPS-2026) and Pharma Fest 2026 at North South University.

For Pharma Fest 2026, interested teams are requested to email the Department Coordinator Officer (DCO) by 27 August 2026 expressing their interest. As participation is limited for both Pharma Debate and Pharma Olympiad, the School will finalize the participating teams accordingly.

We are delighted to announce that three of our students from Batch 27 of the School of Pharmacy, Amrin Islam, Mehek E Nawer, and Syeda Samiha Hoque have secured 3rd place in the Digital Poster Making Competition on "Measles Awareness and Prevention," organized by the BRAC University Microbiology Student Council (BUMSC) in association with the Department of Microbiology, BRAC University.

The prize-giving ceremony was held on 19 July 2026, following the seminar titled "The Resurgence of Measles: Recent Outbreaks in Bangladesh and the Path Forward."

The School of Pharmacy, BRAC University, proudly participated in the World Cup Fest 2026, organized by the BRAC University Sports & Fitness & Tournament Committee. Representing our School with enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship, our faculties and staffs were delighted to be part of this vibrant celebration.

Heartfelt thanks to our amazing School of Pharmacy students and faculty members for showing up in such large numbers and cheering on our team with incredible enthusiasm and energy. Your unwavering support and spirited presence truly made the event even more memorable.

Congratulations to the EEE department for emerging as the Champions, and to the Registrar Office for securing the Runner-up position. Many thanks to BRAC University Sports & Fitness & Tournament Committee for arranging such a wonderful tournament. 📢 Final Examination Notice

Dear Students,

Please be reminded that the following regulations will be strictly enforced during the Final Examination:

🪪 All students must wear their valid BRAC University ID card with the official lanyard around their neck throughout the examination period. Students who fail to wear a valid BRAC University ID card will not be permitted to sit for the examination.

⏰ No student will be permitted to enter the examination hall 30 minutes after the scheduled commencement of the examination.

Your cooperation and compliance with these regulations are expected to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the examinations.
