BUBTDC Debate Workshop Series 2026 | Session 01 Successfully Conducted.
The Debating Club of BUBT (BUBTDC) successfully conducted the first session of the BUBTDC Debate Workshop Series 2026, marking the beginning of an exciting 10-session learning journey on **Asian Parliamentary Debate (APD) for the members.
The session was facilitated by Mustafijul Islam Emon , President of BUBTDC, who shared valuable insights on the importance of debating, the fundamentals of getting started as a beginner, confidence building, public speaking, and the roadmap toward becoming a competitive debater. Participants also engaged in an interactive discussion and Q&A session, making the workshop both informative and engaging.
Throughout the session, members explored how debating develops critical thinking, analytical reasoning, communication skills, and leadership qualities—competencies that contribute significantly to academic, personal, and professional growth. The workshop also emphasized BUBTDC’s commitment to nurturing informed, confident, and responsible speakers through structured training and regular practice.
