The 5th BUBTDC Inter Department Debate Competition 2026 is knocking at the door! We are looking for enthusiastic and talented students from the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Program who are interested in debating and willing to represent the department.

This Expression of Interest Form is intended to collect information from BBA students who are interested in participating in debate. The submitted information will be used to identify interested students and form the team that will represent the BBA Program in the competition.

📌 Selection Details: The selection procedure will be communicated via email.

5th Inter Department Debate Competition 2026

The Debating Club of BUBT is delighted to announce the 5th Inter Department Debate Competition 2026, bringing together passionate debaters from across the departments of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) for an engaging platform of critical thinking, intellectual exchange, and meaningful discourse.

Theme: Artificial Intelligence — Boon or Bane?

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the way we learn, work, communicate, and make decisions. This year’s competition will explore the opportunities, challenges, benefits, and potential risks of Artificial Intelligence.

The debates will examine how we use AI in our daily and academic lives, the consequences of misuse and overdependence, its impact on education and society, and the broader question of whether AI is becoming a powerful tool for progress or a growing source of concern.

Competition Format

Format: Asian Parliamentary (AP)

Team Cap: 16 Teams

Participants: Teams representing the respective departments of BUBT

Theme: Artificial Intelligence — its uses, misuses, opportunities, challenges, and impact on society

Participation & Registration

Students interested in participating in the 5th Inter Department Debate Competition 2026 are requested to contact their respective departments regarding participation and team selection.

Interested students may contact their Department Chairman for further information regarding team formation, selection, and participation.

Participation will be coordinated through the respective departments.
