The Course has been designed to prepare students to articulate architectural ideas with clarity, precision, and visual sophistication. Although the primary focus of this course is to teach students multiple software programs to communicate their design, it also offers an opportunity to visualize their conceptual ideas first and then execute their conceptual visions through multiple media.

Through a diverse set of exercises, the course has propelled them to improve their digital communication and learn to use multiple software as layers to generate a single drawing. The process involves collaboration, group interaction, and brainstorming from idea generation to ex*****on. Throughout the semester, the coursework demonstrated line and light as an important element, celebrating it through different presentation versions. By utilizing a range of software tools, such as AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Rhino, the course familiarizes students with drawing generation and complementary printmaking media like cyanotype.

The course reinforces a holistic design communication process by understanding two-dimensional and three-dimensional space-making and using creativity, aesthetics, and technical proficiency as a cumulative parameter to present their design narrative.

Teams from UAP won prizes at Bangladesh ArchSummit 2025 organized by Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB). The Debate Team comprised of Mahfuza Ferdoush Prova, Mahfuza Tasnim Jarin and Jannatul Mawa Meem won the runner up position in the dwbate competition and the team comprizing of Anamika Sarkar Rupa, Mayesha Azmi, Raihan Ramiz and Sumaiya Bashar Joty won the 1st Runner Up title in the quiz competetion.

UAP Architecture Debate team consisting of Mahfuza Ferdoush Prova, Mahfuza Tasnim Jarin and Jannatul Mawa Meem has moved on to the final round of the ArchSummit 2025. 12 teams for architectural schools of the country took part in the competition and eventually secured the position in the final round after winning the semifinal round yesterday at IAB. The final round of the debate competition will take place on December 11, 2025 at Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Centre.
