The Department of English, European University of Bangladesh (EUB), has held its Orientation Program for the newly admitted students on 12th August 2025. The event was graced by our guests - Prof. Dr. Md. Ghulam Murtaza, Vice Chancellor (Acting), EUB ; Md. Mosharaf Hossain Sarker, Treasurer, EUB ; Dr. S. M. Zobayer Enamul Karim, Registrar (Acting), EUB; and Md. Emdadul Haque, Advisor of Student Welfare and Director of the Program Coordination Unit, EUB.Their words of encouragement aimed to inspire the freshers to pursue excellence and contribute meaningfully to the university community.

In her address, Afsana Chowdhury, Head (In-Charge) of the Department of English, along with the faculty members, extended a heartfelt welcome to the freshers.The program not only introduced students to the academic culture of the department but also set a motivating tone for their journey ahead.

On this blessed month of Ramadan, we are delighted to share the wonderful achievement of Nesarul Haque, a student from the 11th semester of the Department of English. He has secured 2nd place in the Quran Recitation Competition, which took place yesterday as part of the Iftar Mahfil program organized by The Daily EUB community in celebration of Ramadan.
