A workshop titled “Building a Successful Career with the Power of AI Tools” was held on 18.10.2025 at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium, organized by the Career Counseling Center, WUB. Students from various departments actively participated in the session, which aimed to enhance their understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its role in shaping modern careers.

The workshop covered key topics, including an introduction to AI tools and their impact on various industries, how AI can be utilized to enhance individual skills and employability, and practical demonstrations of AI applications in career planning and professional growth.

Mr. Afzal Hossain, Adjunct Faculty, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, served as the keynote speaker of the program. The session was graced by the presence of the Pro-Vice Chancellor, along with the Deans, and faculty members from various departments.

The interactive session inspired students to explore the transformative potential of AI and how it can be effectively utilized for their future career planning.

The Best Performance Award Ceremony (Summer 2025) was successfully held on October 13, 2025, at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Chowdhury Auditorium, WUB. The event was organized by the Career Counseling Center of WUB to honor outstanding students for their exceptional academic achievements.

A total of 41 students from the Department of Business Studies, English, Law, CSE, Architecture, Mechanical, Textile, EEE, Pharmacy, and MPH were recognized for attaining a perfect GPA of 4.00 out of 4.00 in the Summer 2025 Semester. The awardees were commended for their dedication, perseverance, and exemplary academic performance.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Controller of Examinations, and Deans of different faculties, who delivered inspiring speeches encouraging students to uphold their pursuit of academic and personal excellence.

Adding a touch of warmth to the occasion, the parents of the awardees attended the ceremony to share the accomplishments of their children. Two of the award-winning students also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the university for its continuous guidance, mentorship, and all types of academic support.

The event served as a reflection of WUB’s unwavering commitment to fostering academic excellence and motivating students to achieve their highest potential.
