ওয়ার্ল্ড ইউনিভার্সিটি অব বাংলাদেশ (ডব্লিউইউবি)-এ তিন দিনব্যাপী ‘বিজনেস আইডিয়া কম্পিটিশন ২০২৬ – ইনোভেশন ফর সাসটেইনেবল গ্রোথ’-এর সমাপনী ও পুরস্কার বিতরণী অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। আজ বুধবার (১৫ জুলাই) বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ফাউন্ডিং ট্রেজারার মরশেদা চৌধুরী অডিটোরিয়ামে এই আয়োজন করা হয়।

এ অনুষ্ঠানে ১২৬ জনেরও বেশি অংশগ্রহণকারী ও অতিথি উপস্থিত ছিলেন। তাদের মধ্যে ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট শিক্ষাবিদ, শিল্পখাতের প্রতিনিধি, বিচারক, মেন্টর, শিক্ষক, শিক্ষার্থী এবং আয়োজক কমিটির সদস্যরা।

World University of Bangladesh (WUB) on Monday launched a three-day business idea competition featuring 24 student teams presenting solutions across sustainability, technology, healthcare and other sectors.

Titled "Business Idea Competition 2026 – Innovation for Sustainable Growth", the event began on 13 July 2026 at the Founding Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury Auditorium.

Professor Dr M Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh, inaugurated the competition as Chief Guest.
Professor Zaki Imam, Registrar, and Professor Dr AQM Shafiul Azam, Dean of Academic Affairs and Research, attended as Special Guests. Professor Dr Selim Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, chaired the session.

Professor Dr Md Mizanur Rahman, Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell and Co-Convenor of the Business Idea Competition 2026, delivered the welcome address.

In his inaugural speech, Professor Dr M Nurul Islam encouraged participants to embrace creativity, critical thinking and ethical entrepreneurship.
