The Grand Finale of the Hult Prize at Independent University, Bangladesh brought together visionary young leaders, respected faculty members, and distinguished guests for an inspiring celebration of innovation and impact.

Graced by the presence of Vice Chancellor Prof. M. Tamim, the Pro Vice Chancellor, Acting Dean of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Independent University Bangladesh, esteemed faculty members, judges, and partners, the event highlighted the power of youth-driven solutions addressing global challenges.

From impactful ideas to remarkable teamwork, the evening reflected the passion, creativity, and commitment of our students to build a better future.

The Hult Prize at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) successfully concluded its Grand Finale on 22 February 2026, bringing together visionary student entrepreneurs committed to solving real-world challenges through sustainable innovation.

Organized by Hult Prize at IUB with the strategic academic contribution of the Department of Human Resource Management (HRM), School of Business & Entrepreneurship (SBE), the event reflected a strong collaboration between academia and industry. The HRM Department played a pivotal role in mentoring participants and ensuring a structured, industry-aligned competition framework that emphasized leadership, feasibility, and impact.

The finale was evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges, including Sayed Azaz Ahmed, General Manager, Brand Partner, Marketing Division at bKash Limited; Farhana Islam, Director and Head of ESG at Grameenphone; and Dr. Ikramul Hasan, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of HRM, SBE, IUB. Their expertise ensured a rigorous assessment of innovation, scalability, and social relevance.

A defining moment for Hult Prize at IUB

Innovation for Impact: A Startup Workshop at Grameenphone brought together our Grand Finalists for Bangladesh’s first exclusive industry-hosted workshop dedicated to Hult Prize teams.

With the support of the HRM Department of Independent University, Bangladesh, the session offered practical industry insights from Ms. Tazriba Khurshid and Mr. Ashfaque Hossain, helping our finalists sharpen their ideas and strengthen their entrepreneurial vision.
Thank you to The Business Standard and TBS Graduates for recognizing and sharing this milestone in youth innovation.

The workshop was held in partnership with Grameenphone, with the support of the HRM Department of Independent University, Bangladesh, and was designed exclusively for the finalists of Hult Prize at IUB.
