All Female teachers enjoy this special Day....

International Women's Day is observed on March 8. Every year, women's Day is celebrated with a unique theme. This year, the theme of International Women's Day 2024 will focus on 'Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,' targeting economic disempowerment. However, the campaign theme for the same year is 'Inspire Inclusion.'

The campaign theme Inspire Inclusion emphasizes the importance of diversity and empowerment in all aspects of society.

On Wednesday, 21st February, the Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialized Hospital and Nursing College celebrated the International Mother Language Day with a assembly to honour the language martyrs of Bangladesh and celebrate every language people speak around the world.

Paying tribute to language diversity around the world, “Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialized Hospital and Nursing College held a special assembly, where students sang “Amar Bhaiyer Rokte Rangano Ekushey February.”

Honorable CEO Sir Taufik Bin Ismail graced the inaugural program of the Ekushey Rally.

Honorable Madam Nuradilah Binti Shuib, Chief Finance Officer and Ruzita Mohammad Dan, Chief Nursing Officer and respected management of the hospital, students and all faculty members from Nursing college and officials and employees of the hospital were present in the rally of Ekushey February.

Students recited poems and performed songs to celebrate the diverse culture of Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialized Hospital and Nursing College’s vibrant community and joined teachers and officials to place floral wreaths at the Hospital’s Shaheed Minar.

Rumana Aktar Khatun, Principal of Nursing College, said: “Our International Mother Language assembly was a joyous opportunity to celebrate the multitude of languages and cultural expressions within our student’s community.”

“This perfectly demonstrates our commitment to honoring linguistic diversity and fostering an inclusive environment where every voice is valued and respected,” she added.

20th February 2024 Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Memorial KPJ Nursing College was arranged a fabulous day long Nutrition Food Fair Competition 2024 at SFMMKPJSH hospital lobby.

Honorable CEO Sir Taufik Bin Ismail graced the inaugural program of the food festival as Chief Guest.

Honorable Dr. J.M.H. Qausar Alam, Medical Director (Acting), Madam Nuradilah Binti Shuib, Chief Finance Officer and Ruzita Mohammad Dan, Chief Nursing Officer and Respected management of the hospital, all doctors and consultants, officials and employees of the hospital were present at the competition.

A total of 7 stalls participated in the fair. Basically this Food Fair is organized by 2nd year Basic B.Sc. in Nursing (Session 2021-2022) and 1st Year *Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing (Session 2022-2023). Judges were Dr. J.M.H. Qausar Alam Medical Director (Acting), Dr. Subrata Shakhar Kar (Consultant), Maisha Musharrat and Kaniz Fatema Lima (Dietician). At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded with an attractive prize money.

The program was chaired by Madam Dr.Rumana Akhter Khatun- Principal of Nursing College.
More than 20 varieties of delicious food both foreign and traditional were presented by the students in the competition. All items of food including appetizers and desserts were exclusively prepared by the concerned students of the Nursing College.

The Nutrition Food Fair Competition 2024 is one of the major parts of our cultural heritage people of this soil celebrated that from time immemorial, the Principal mentioned. The festival creates much enthusiasm among students and plays a significant role to increase inter-batch connection.
