The Department of Software Engineering, Green University of Bangladesh, successfully organized an Industry Visit to Riseup Labs on 29 July 2026 as part of the Software Requirements Engineering course.
A group of 18 students from Batch 251, accompanied by faculty members, had the opportunity to explore one of Bangladesh's leading software companies and gain first-hand insights into the modern software development industry.
The visit featured inspiring sessions conducted by professionals from Product Management, Project Management, Human Resources, and Business Development, who shared their experiences on software engineering practices, requirements engineering, product development, teamwork, and the dynamic nature of today's software industry.
One of the most exciting moments of the visit was the interactive Q&A session, where students directly engaged with industry experts, discussing real-world software requirements, development workflows, career opportunities, and the skills needed to thrive in the competitive technology sector.
Beyond technical knowledge, students also received valuable career advice on professionalism, communication, continuous learning, and industry expectationsโhelping them better prepare for their future as software engineers.
