🎓 Call for Research Proposals: Student Research Grant Programme 2026

Are you a Master's student at Khulna University with a passion for research and a desire to make a positive impact on society?

Here's your opportunity!

Khulna University, in collaboration with Terre des hommes (Tdh) Bangladesh, is pleased to invite applications for the Student Research Grant Programme 2026.

This programme will support innovative student research on issues related to Climate Resilience, Child Rights and Participation. Selected research proposals will receive financial support to conduct empirical research, and the researchers will have the opportunity to present their findings at the National Conference on Climate Resilience, Child Rights and Participation: Evidence, Policy and Practice, to be held at Khulna University in December 2026.

📍 Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

The Office of International Affairs, Khulna University is delighted to share the achievement of our international student Suresh Bishwokarma (ID: 200145), from the Architecture Discipline, who has been awarded the prestigious Dean’s Award under the Science, Engineering and Technology School of Khulna University.

Suresh, a student of the 2019–2020 session and graduating in 2026, has demonstrated outstanding academic excellence by securing an impressive CGPA of 3.84.

His undergraduate thesis, titled
“Reconstructing the Vernacular: Resilient Post-Earthquake Housing at Laprak, Gorkha, Nepal” reflects a thoughtful and context-sensitive approach to resilient housing design, contributing meaningfully to disaster-resilient architecture discourse.

We warmly congratulate Suresh on this remarkable achievement and wish him continued success in his academic and professional journey.

Call for Applications: EMPower! Graduate Program for Green Transformation

The Office of International Affairs, Khulna University is pleased to inform students of Khulna University about an excellent opportunity to pursue fully funded Master’s and Doctoral studies in Japan under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship. This scholarship is under the EMPower! Graduate Program for Green Transformation is offered by the Faculty of Engineering, Yamagata University, Japan.

Available Programs
• Master’s Program: 2 nominees from Khulna University
• Doctoral Program:1 nominee from Khulna University

Who Can Apply?
• Graduates or final-year students of Khulna University
• Students interested in green transformation, engineering, sustainability, environment, and related fields (engineering expertise in mechanical, chemical or biological matters)
