Heartiest congratulations to our talented students Shahadat Hossain, Md. Imran Sheikh, and Md. Rakibul Hassan on their remarkable achievement of having their research paper published in the prestigious Q1 journal Sustainable Production and Consumption, published by Elsevier.

The Department of Textile Engineering, Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) and Green University Textile Club (GUTC) are delighted to share the successful completion of the seminar on “Scientific Paper Writing-2026”, held on 15th August 2026 at the A-302 Seminar Hall.

The Department of Textile Engineering, Green University of Bangladesh (GUB), organized an industrial visit to ACS Textiles & Towel (BD) Ltd. on 15 August 2026. A total of 26 students participated, accompanied by Ms. Suraiya Ireen, Lecturer; Mr. Md. Omar Faruque, Lecturer; and Mr. Syed Anowar, Lab Technician.

The visit offered students valuable first-hand exposure to textile manufacturing, modern production technologies, quality control, compliance, safety, sustainability, and industrial practices. By connecting classroom learning with real-world applications, the visit enhanced students’ practical knowledge, professional awareness, and understanding of industry requirements. Such initiatives play a vital role in bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial practice and strengthening industry–academia collaboration.

The Department of Textile Engineering, Green University of Bangladesh, organized an insightful Industry Expert Session on Industrial Management for its students today, offering valuable exposure to real-world practices in the RMG industry.

The session was conducted by Mr. Md. Nazmul Hasan, Sr. Executive – Costing & Development, Liz Fashion Industry Ltd., an accomplished RMG professional with expertise in garment costing, sourcing, buyer management, knitwear, and activewear.

Through real-life RMG case studies and industry-based experiences, the session provided students with practical insights into industrial management and helped bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice.
