A Glimpse into the Day โ€” Thesis Roadmap & Case Study Competition 2026

RUET Mechanical Club successfully organized โ€œThesis Roadmap & Case Study Competition 2026โ€, bringing together Mechanical Engineering students for a day of learning, analytical thinking, teamwork, and meaningful interaction.

The Case Study Competition featured 10 enthusiastic teams, each presenting practical solutions to a given problem before an esteemed panel of judges. The participants demonstrated creativity, teamwork, confidence, and strong problem-solving abilities throughout the competition.

The competition was honored by the presence of Abdul Mojid Parvez Sir, Raihan Karal Sir, and Md. Hasibul Hasan Himel Sir, Assistant Professors of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, RUET, as the esteemed judges. Their valuable evaluation, constructive feedback, and guidance contributed significantly to the success of the event.

The event also featured a farewell ceremony for the graduating batch, marking a heartfelt moment of appreciation for their contributions, guidance, and support to the Mechanical Engineering community.

The program was conducted successfully and smoothly. RUET Mechanical Club extends its sincere gratitude to the respected teachers, participants, graduating students, volunteers, and organizing team members whose contributions made the event a memorable success.

Turning questions into clarity and aspirations into a roadmap for research! ๐Ÿ“š

RUET Mechanical Club successfully hosted an insightful session on โ€œThesis Roadmapโ€, aimed at helping students better understand the undergraduate thesis journey and prepare for the challenges ahead.

The program was graced by Prof. Dr. Md. Rabiul Islam Sarker, Director of Studentsโ€™ Welfare (DSW), RUET, who inaugurated the session and shared his valuable words and encouragement with the participants.

Our 20 Series Founding committee members shared their thesis experiences and provided practical guidance on choosing a research topic, finding the right research direction, writing a thesis book, understanding the overall thesis process, and preparing for the challenges along the way.

Their experiences and honest insights gave participants a clearer and more practical picture of the thesis journey, helping them understand how they can prepare themselves from an early stage.

We sincerely express our gratitude to Prof. Dr. Md. Rabiul Islam Sarker, DSW, RUET, for joining us and encouraging this initiative.
