🎉 Student Achievement Spotlight | Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Teesta University, Rangpur
The Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Teesta University, Rangpur, proudly congratulates Kalyan Goswami for successfully completing the 1st Gadjah Mada Veterinary Medicine International Summer Course 2026, organized by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia.
The international summer course, titled "Guardians of Forest Wildlife: Advancing Global Perspectives in Wildlife Conservation, Health, and Welfare," was conducted from 29 June to 11 July 2026 and awarded 3 academic credits through a comprehensive 138-hour learning program.
The course covered key areas of modern veterinary medicine and wildlife conservation, including biodiversity conservation, wildlife health and disease management, environmental DNA (eDNA), wildlife forensics, Sumatran tiger conservation, assisted reproductive technologies (ART), biobanking for endangered species, One Health, wildlife diseases, conservation genetics, ethical wildlife management, vector-borne diseases, and human and wildlife conflict. Participants also completed independent study, a digital conservation campaign, and an international essay project.
This achievement reflects academic excellence, global engagement, and a commitment to advancing veterinary medicine, wildlife conservation, and One Health.
The Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Teesta University, Rangpur, encourages all students to participate in international courses, research programs, conferences, workshops, and student exchange opportunities.
