📘 পঞ্চম শ্রেণির শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য ৪০টি Right Form of Verb

ছোট একটি পরামর্শ: ৪০টি নিয়মের মধ্যে ২৯ নম্বর (No sooner...than/Hardly...when) এবং ৩০ নম্বর (First Conditional) পঞ্চম শ্রেণির সাধারণ পাঠ্যবইয়ে খুব বেশি গুরুত্ব পায় না। এই দুইটা নিয়ম বাদ দিতে পারেন।
🌟 পর্ব–১ (নিয়ম ১–১০)
✅ নিয়ম–১ : Present Indefinite Tense-এ Third Person Singular (He, She, It বা একটি ব্যক্তি/বস্তু) হলে Verb-এর শেষে s/es যোগ হয়।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Third Person Singular = Verb + s/es
উদাহরণ
He ____ (go) to school every day. → goes
She ____ (read) English. → reads
Rahim ____ (play) football. → plays
My father ____ (work) hard. → works
The bird ____ (fly) in the sky. → flies
✅ নিয়ম–২ : First Person (I, We), Second Person (You) এবং Third Person Plural (They) হলে Present Indefinite Tense-এ Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
I, We, You, They = V₁
উদাহরণ
I ____ (write) a letter. → write
We ____ (play) football. → play
You ____ (help) me. → help
They ____ (read) English. → read
The boys ____ (run) fast. → run
✅ নিয়ম–৩ : Past Indefinite Tense-এ সব Person-এর সঙ্গেই Verb-এর দ্বিতীয় রূপ (V₂) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
অতীতের কাজ = V₂
উদাহরণ
I ____ (go) home yesterday. → went
You ____ (see) the bird. → saw
He ____ (write) a letter. → wrote
We ____ (eat) mangoes. → ate
They ____ (play) football. → played
✅ নিয়ম–৪ : Future Indefinite Tense-এ সব Person-এর সঙ্গে will + V₁ বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Future = will + V₁
উদাহরণ
I ____ (go) tomorrow. → will go
We ____ (visit) Dhaka. → will visit
You ____ (help) me. → will help
He ____ (come) soon. → will come
They ____ (play) cricket. → will play
✅ নিয়ম–৫ : Modal Verb (can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must)-এর পরে সবসময় Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Modal + V₁
উদাহরণ
He can ____ (swim). → swim
You should ____ (study). → study
We must ____ (obey) our parents. → obey
They may ____ (come). → come
I will ____ (help) you. → help
✅ নিয়ম–৬ : To-এর পরে সবসময় Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
To + V₁
উদাহরণ
I want to ____ (read). → read
She likes to ____ (sing). → sing
We went to ____ (buy) books. → buy
He came to ____ (help) me. → help
They tried to ____ (win). → win
✅ নিয়ম–৭ : Am, Is, Are-এর পরে Verb-এর ing রূপ (V-ing) বসে।

Am/Is/Are + V-ing
উদাহরণ
I am ____ (write). → writing
He is ____ (read). → reading
She is ____ (cook). → cooking
We are ____ (play). → playing
They are ____ (learn). → learning
✅ নিয়ম–৮ : Was, Were-এর পরে Verb-এর ing রূপ (V-ing) বসে।

Was/Were + V-ing

He was ____ (sleep). → sleeping
She was ____ (cook). → cooking
We were ____ (work). → working
They were ____ (play). → playing
✅ নিয়ম–৯ : Has, Have, Had-এর পরে Verb-এর তৃতীয় রূপ (V₃) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Has/Have/Had + V₃

They have ____ (eat) rice. → eaten
I have ____ (write) a letter. → written
She had ____ (go) home. → gone
We have ____ (see) the game. → seen
✅ নিয়ম–১০ : Let-এর পরে Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Let + V₁

Let her ____ (sing). → sing

🌟 পর্ব–২A (নিয়ম ১১–১৫)
✅ নিয়ম–১১ : And দ্বারা দুটি Singular Subject যুক্ত হলে Verb সাধারণত Plural (V₁) হয়।
💡 মনে রাখো:
A and B = Plural Verb
উদাহরণ
Rahim and Karim ____ (play) football. → play
Father and mother ____ (love) us. → love
Rina and Mina ____ (read) together. → read
You and I ____ (work) hard. → work
Tom and Jerry ____ (run) fast. → run
✅ নিয়ম–১২ : Each, Every, Everybody, Everyone, Somebody, Nobody, Anyone ইত্যাদি Singular Subject-এর পরে Singular Verb বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Each/Every = Singular Verb
উদাহরণ
Each student ____ (have) a book. → has
Every boy ____ (play) football. → plays
Everybody ____ (know) the answer. → knows
Nobody ____ (like) lies. → likes
Someone ____ (call) you. → calls
✅ নিয়ম–১৩ : There + be-এ Verb পরের Subject অনুযায়ী হয়।

There is = একবচন
There are = বহুবচন

✅ নিয়ম–১৪ : One of + Plural Noun হলে Verb Singular হয়।

One of my friends ____ (live) in Dhaka. → lives
One of the teachers ____ (teach) English. → teaches
One of the students ____ (write) neatly. → writes
✅ নিয়ম–১৫ : A number of + Plural Noun হলে Verb Plural হয়।
💡 মনে রাখো:
A number of = Plural Verb

A number of students ____ (play) football. → play
A number of boys ____ (read) English. → read
A number of people ____ (come) here. → come
A number of teachers ____ (work) hard. → work
A number of birds ____ (fly) in the sky. → fly

🌟 পর্ব–২B (নিয়ম ১৬–২০)
✅ নিয়ম–১৬ : The number of + Plural Noun হলে Verb Singular হয়।
💡 মনে রাখো:
The number of = Singular Verb
উদাহরণ
The number of students ____ (be) increasing. → is
The number of books ____ (be) large. → is
The number of trees ____ (be) small. → is
The number of teachers ____ (be) high. → is
The number of players ____ (be) increasing. → is
✅ নিয়ম–১৭ : Either...or / Neither...nor-এ Verb কাছের Subject-এর সঙ্গে মিলবে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Nearest Subject = Verb
উদাহরণ
Either Rahim or Karim ____ (go) to school. → goes
Either the boys or the girl ____ (be) present. → is
Either the girl or the boys ____ (be) present. → are
Neither you nor he ____ (be) honest. → is
Neither he nor they ____ (be) ready. → are
✅ নিয়ম–১৮ : When, Before, After, Until, As soon as-এর পরে ভবিষ্যৎ অর্থ প্রকাশ করলেও Present Indefinite Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Future Meaning → Present Verb
উদাহরণ
I will go when he ____ (come). → comes
Wait until she ____ (arrive). → arrives
We shall start after he ____ (finish) the work. → finishes
Call me before you ____ (leave). → leave
As soon as he ____ (reach), he will phone me. → reaches
✅ নিয়ম–১৯ : Since-সহ Present Perfect Tense-এ Has/Have + V₃ ব্যবহৃত হয়।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Since + সময় = Has/Have + V₃
উদাহরণ
I ____ (live) here since 2022. → have lived
She ____ (study) here since January. → has studied
They ____ (work) since morning. → have worked
He ____ (stay) here since Monday. → has stayed
We ____ (know) him since childhood. → have known
✅ নিয়ম–২০ : It is high time + Subject + Verb-এর Past Form (V₂) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
It is high time = V₂
উদাহরণ
It is high time we ____ (go) home. → went
It is high time you ____ (study). → studied
It is high time he ____ (take) exercise. → took
It is high time they ____ (start) the work. → started
It is high time she ____ (sleep). → slept

🌟 পর্ব–৩A (নিয়ম ২১–২৫)
✅ নিয়ম–২১ : Without-এর পরে Verb-এর ing (V-ing) রূপ বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Without + V-ing
উদাহরণ
He left without ____ (say) goodbye. → saying
She went out without ____ (lock) the door. → locking
They passed without ____ (study). → studying
I cannot live without ____ (eat). → eating
He crossed the road without ____ (look) both ways. → looking
✅ নিয়ম–২২ : After, Before, By, In spite of-এর পরে Verb হলে V-ing বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
After/Before/By/In spite of + V-ing
উদাহরণ
After ____ (finish) the work, he went home. → finishing
Before ____ (go) to bed, brush your teeth. → going
He passed the exam by ____ (study) hard. → studying
In spite of ____ (be) ill, she came to school. → being
They became successful by ____ (practice) every day. → practicing
✅ নিয়ম–২৩ : Imperative Sentence (আদেশ, অনুরোধ বা উপদেশ) হলে Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
আদেশ/অনুরোধ = Verb-এর মূল রূপ

____ (Read) the lesson carefully. → Read
____ (Write) your name. → Write
____ (Listen) to your teacher. → Listen
Don't ____ (make) a noise. → make
✅ নিয়ম–২৪ : Would rather-এর পরে Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Would rather + V₁

I would rather ____ (stay) at home. → stay
He would rather ____ (read) English. → read
They would rather ____ (play) football. → play
She would rather ____ (walk) to school. → walk

✅ নিয়ম–২৫ : Had better-এর পরে Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বসে।

Had better + V₁

We had better ____ (leave) now. → leave
He had better ____ (tell) the truth. → tell
She had better ____ (take) some rest. → take

🌟 পর্ব–৩B (নিয়ম ২৬–৩০)
✅ নিয়ম–২৬ : Used to-এর পরে Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Used to + V₁
উদাহরণ
He used to ____ (play) football. → play
I used to ____ (live) in a village. → live
She used to ____ (sing) well. → sing
They used to ____ (come) here. → come
We used to ____ (walk) to school. → walk
✅ নিয়ম–২৭ : Be used to-এর পরে Noun বা Verb-এর ing (V-ing) রূপ বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Be used to + Noun / V-ing
উদাহরণ
He is used to ____ (get) up early. → getting
She is used to ____ (work) hard. → working
They are used to ____ (live) in the city. → living
I am used to ____ (walk) long distances. → walking
We are used to ____ (eat) spicy food. → eating
✅ নিয়ম–২৮ : Prevent / Stop / Keep + Object + from-এর পরে Verb-এর ing (V-ing) রূপ বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Prevent/Stop/Keep + from + V-ing
উদাহরণ
The police prevented him from ____ (escape). → escaping
Keep the children from ____ (play) on the road. → playing
Stop him from ____ (smoke). → smoking
The rain prevented us from ____ (go) out. → going
Nothing can keep me from ____ (learn). → learning
✅ নিয়ম–২৯ : No sooner...than / Hardly...when-এ প্রথম অংশে Past Perfect, দ্বিতীয় অংশে Past Indefinite ব্যবহৃত হয়।
💡 মনে রাখো:
No sooner/Hardly = Had + V₃
উদাহরণ
No sooner had he ____ (reach) than it rained. → reached
No sooner had I ____ (sit) than the bell rang. → sat
Hardly had she ____ (come) when he left. → come
Hardly had we ____ (start) when it began to rain. → started
No sooner had they ____ (arrive) than the meeting began. → arrived
✅ নিয়ম–৩০ : If + Present Indefinite, তাহলে প্রধান বাক্যে will + V₁ বসে। (First Conditional)
💡 মনে রাখো:
If + Present → Will + V₁
উদাহরণ
If you ____ (work) hard, you will succeed. → work
If he ____ (come), I will help him. → comes
If it ____ (rain), we will stay at home. → rains
If they ____ (study), they will pass the exam. → study
If she ____ (try), she will win. → tries

✅ নিয়ম–৩১ : Enjoy, Finish, Mind, Avoid, Practice-এর পরে Verb-এর V-ing বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Enjoy/Finish/Mind/Avoid/Practice + V-ing
উদাহরণ
I enjoy ____ (read) books. → reading
She finished ____ (write) the letter. → writing
He avoids ____ (tell) lies. → telling
We practice ____ (speak) English. → speaking
They mind ____ (make) noise. → making
✅ নিয়ম–৩২ : Begin, Start, Continue-এর পরে to + V₁ অথবা V-ing—দুটিই বসতে পারে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Begin/Start + to V₁ / V-ing
উদাহরণ
He began ____ (read). → to read / reading
She started ____ (sing). → to sing / singing
They continued ____ (play). → to play / playing
We began ____ (learn) English. → to learn / learning
I started ____ (work). → to work / working
✅ নিয়ম–৩৩ : See, Hear, Watch, Feel, Notice-এর পরে Object থাকলে Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বা V-ing হতে পারে (অর্থ অনুযায়ী)।
উদাহরণ
I saw him ____ (cross) the road. → cross
I saw him ____ (crossing) the road. → crossing
We heard the baby ____ (cry). → cry
She watched the boys ____ (play). → play
I noticed him ____ (run). → running
✅ নিয়ম–৩৪ : Make-এর পরে Object থাকলে Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Make + Object + V₁
উদাহরণ
The teacher made me ____ (write). → write
Father made him ____ (study). → study
The coach made us ____ (run). → run
She made me ____ (laugh). → laugh
They made the boy ____ (work). → work
✅ নিয়ম–৩৫ : Help-এর পরে V₁ বা to + V₁—দুটিই সঠিক।
উদাহরণ
He helped me ____ (carry) the bag. → carry / to carry
She helped him ____ (learn) English. → learn / to learn
We helped them ____ (clean) the room. → clean / to clean
Father helped me ____ (solve) the problem. → solve / to solve
I helped her ____ (cook). → cook / to cook
✅ নিয়ম–৩৬ : Too...to-এর পরে Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Too + adjective + to + V₁
উদাহরণ
He is too weak to ____ (walk). → walk
She is too tired to ____ (work). → work
The boy is too young to ____ (drive). → drive
I am too busy to ____ (play). → play
They are too poor to ____ (buy) a car. → buy
✅ নিয়ম–৩৭ : Enough to-এর পরে Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বসে।

He is strong enough to ____ (carry) the box. → carry
She is old enough to ____ (vote). → vote
We are ready enough to ____ (start). → start
The girl is clever enough to ____ (answer). → answer
I am lucky enough to ____ (meet) him. → meet
✅ নিয়ম–৩৮ : It takes/took + সময় + to + V₁ ব্যবহৃত হয়।
উদাহরণ
It takes me one hour to ____ (reach) school. → reach
It took him two days to ____ (finish) the work. → finish
It takes her ten minutes to ____ (walk) home. → walk
It took us an hour to ____ (cook). → cook
It takes them five minutes to ____ (write). → write
✅ নিয়ম–৩৯ : Be going to-এর পরে Verb-এর মূল রূপ (V₁) বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Am/Is/Are going to + V₁
উদাহরণ
I am going to ____ (visit) my uncle. → visit
He is going to ____ (play) football. → play
They are going to ____ (buy) a car. → buy
We are going to ____ (start) the class. → start
She is going to ____ (cook) dinner. → cook
✅ নিয়ম–৪০ : Need, Want, Plan, Decide, Hope-এর পরে সাধারণত to + V₁ বসে।
💡 মনে রাখো:
Need/Want/Plan/Decide/Hope + to + V₁
উদাহরণ

She decided to ____ (study) harder. → study
We plan to ____ (visit) Cox's Bazar. → visit

ইংরেজিতে অনর্গল কথা বলতে নিচের ৬৬ টি Structures জানা খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

★RULE:1
কোনো কিছু প্রয়োজন বুঝাতে,
আমরা need to use করব।
sub+need to+verb1

I need to learn English.
আমার ইংরেজি শিখা প্রয়োজন।
I need to buy a book.
আমার একটি বই কিনা প্রয়োজন।
I need to help him.
আমার তাকে সাহায্য করা প্রয়োজন।
I need to do the work.
আমার কাজটি করা প্রয়োজন।

★RULE:2
☞I am having a hard time+ ing যুক্ত verb(কোন কিছু করতে সমস্যা হচ্ছে)

1.I am having a hard time understanding my friends.( আমার বন্ধুদের বুঝতে আমার সমস্যা হচ্ছে )
2.I am having a hard time downloading songs.( আমার গান গুলি ডাউনলোড করতে সমস্যা হচ্ছে)
3..I am having a hard time answering your questions.( তোমার প্রশ্নগুলির উত্তর দিতে আমার সমস্যা হচ্ছে)।
Similarly, I am having a hard time understanding the rules. I am having a hard time browsing internet.

★ RULE:3
☞There is something wrong with + noun.( কোন কিছুতে সমস্যা হয়েছে)

1. There is something wrong with computer.(আমার কম্পিউটার এ সমস্যা হয়েছে)
2. There is something wrong with my mobile.(আমার মোবাইলে সমস্যা হয়েছে)
3. There is something wrong with my certificate.(আমার সার্টিফিকেট এ সমস্যা হয়েছে)
4.There is something wrong with my Television.(আমার টেলিভিশন এ সমস্যা হয়েছে)

★Rules:4
☞I have decided to+ verb...(কোন কিছুর সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি)

1.I have decided to learn English.( আমি ইংরেজী শেখার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি)
2. I have decided to change myself.(আমি নিজেকে পরিবর্তন করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি)
3.I have decided to work hard.(আমি কঠোর কাজ করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি)
4.I have decided to help the poor.(আমি গরীবদের কে সাহায্য করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি)
5.I have decided to change my bad habits.(আমি আমার খারাপ অভ্যাসগুলি পরিবর্তন করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি)

☞I am trying to + verb.(কোন কিছু করার চেষ্টা করতেছি) যেমন,

1. I am trying to learn English.( আমি ইংরেজী শিখতে চেষ্টা করতেছি)
2. I am trying to do something.(আমি কিছু করার চেষ্টা করতেছি)
3. I am trying to help the street children.( আমি পথশিশু দের সাহায্য করতে চেষ্টা করতেছি)
4. I am trying to clean my room.(আমি আমার ঘর পরিষ্কার করার চেষ্টা করতেছি)
5.I am trying to motivate him.(আমি তাকে অনুপ্রাণিত করার চেষ্টা করতেছি)

★RULE:6
☞I have heard that +.....(আমি শুনেছি যে.....)

1.I have heard that you learn English.(আমি শুনেছি তুমি ইংরেজী শিখ)
2.I have heard that English Group is very useful for learners.(আমি শুনেছি ইংলিশ গ্রুপ শিক্ষার্থী দের জন্য উপকারী)
3.I have heard that he is very talented.(আমি শুনেছি সে খুব মেধাবী)
4.I have heard that you work hard.(আমি শুনেছি তুমি কঠোর কাজ কর)
5.I have heard that you study well.(আমি শুনেছি তুমি ভালভাবে পড়াশুনা কর)
6.I have heard that you like traditional foods.(আমি শুনেছি তুমি traditional খাবার পছন্দ কর)
7.I have heard that you waste your time.(আমি শুনেছি তুমি তোমার সময় অপচয় কর)

★RULE:7
No need - দরকার নেই।
Structure : No need to + verb + obj.

No need to tell.- বলার দরকার নাই।
No need to wait.- অপেক্ষা করার দরকার নাই।
No need to write. -লেখার দরকার নাই।
No need to stand.- দাঁড়ানোর দরকার নাই।

No need to sit.- বসার দরকার নাই।
No need to go.- যাওয়ার দরকার নাই।
No need to eat.- খাওয়ার দরকার নাই।
No need to learn.- শেখার দরকার নাই।
No need to cook.- রান্না করার দরকার নাই।
No need to work.- কাজ করার দরকার নাই।
No need to believe. - বিশ্বাস করার দরকার নাই।
No need to waste time.- সময় অপচয় করার দরকার নাই।
No need to stop.- বন্ধ করার দরকার নাই।

★RULE:8
How often দিয়ে বাক্য গঠনঃ-

=> How often will you do? - তুমি কতবার করবে?
=> How often do you exercise? - তুমি কতদিন পর পর ব্যায়াম কর।
=> How often do you visit your parents? - তুমি কতদিন পর পর তোমার মা-বাবার সাথে দেখা কর?
=> How often do you change your password? - তুমি কতদিন পর পর তোমার পাসওয়ার্ড পরিবর্তন কর?
=> How often do you need facial? - কতদিন পর পর তোমার ফেসিয়াল করা প্রয়োজন হয়?
=> How often do you visit the library? কতদিন পরপর তুমি লাইব্রেরী পরিদর্শন কর?
=> How often do you go to doctor for checkup? - তুমি চেকআপের জন্য কতদিন পর পর ডাক্তারের কাছে যাও?
=> How often do you log in to Facebook account?
কতদিন পর পর তুমি ফেসবুক একাউন্টে লগইন কর?

A. How often do you use the computer?
(কতদিন পরপর তুমি কম্পিউটার ব্যবহার কর?)
B. Every day. I can’t think anymore without computer.
(প্রত্যেকদিন. আমি কম্পিউটার ছাড়া কোনকিছু চিন্তাও করতে পারি না)
A. How often do you take physical exercise? (তুমি কতদিন পর পর শরীরচর্চা কর?)
B. Every day. I keep myself fit by doing this. (প্রতিদিন। এর মাধ্যমে আমি নিজেকে ফিট রাখি)

I will be able to -আমি পারবো

* আমি করতে পারবো - I will be able to do
* আমি আসতে পারবো - I will be able to come
* আমি যেতে পারবো - I will be able to go
* আমি আসতে পারবো না - I won’t be able to come
* আমি যেতে পারবো না - I won’t be able to go
* আমি কাজটি করতে পারবো - I will be able to do the work
আমি কাজটি করতে পারবো না - I won’t be able to do the work
* তুমি কি করতে পারবে? - will you be able to do?
* তুমি কি করতে পারবে না? - Won’t you be able to do?
* রুবি আসতে পারবে - Rubi will be able to come
* রুবি আসতে পারবে না - Rubi won’t be able to come
* রুবি কি আসতে পারবে না? - Won’t Rubi be able to come?
* আমি করতে সক্ষম হয়েছি - I have been able to do

★RULE:10
SHOULD HAVE=থাকা উচিত

আপনার শালীনতা থাকা উচিত
You should have modesty
তোমার একটি গাড়ি থাকা উচিত
You should have a car

এক সময় আমি সাঁতার কাটায় দক্ষ ছিলাম।

কোন কিছু করতে বাধ্য হওয়া বোঝালে Compelled to +v1 বসে।

আমি ইংরেজি শিখতে বাধ্য।
I am compelled to learn English.
সে সেখানে যেতে বাধ্য ছিল।
He was compelled to go there.
সে বইটি পড়তে বাধ্য হয়েছে।
He has been compelled to read the book.
সে পরীক্ষায় পাশ করার জন্য ইংরেজি শিখতে বাধ্য হয়েছে ।
He has been compelled to learn English to pass the exam.
তুমি আমার সাথে কথা বলতে বাধ্য হবে।
You will be compelled to talk to me.
সে জীবনের জন্য কঠোর পরিশ্রম করতে বাধ্য হয়েছে।
He has been compelled to wark hard for life.
তোমাদের ইংরেজি শিখার জন্য কঠোর পরিশ্রম করতে বাধ্য থাকা উচিত।
You should be compelled to work hard to learn English.

★RULE:49
There's nothing(মত...কিছুই নেই)

1. There's nothing you can proof = প্রমান করার মত তোমার কাছে কিছুই নেই।

2. There's nothing we can arrange = সাজিয়ে রাখার মত আমাদের কাছে কিছুই নেই।

3. There’s nothing you can appreciate = তুমি প্রসংশা করার মত কিছুই খুজে পাবে না।

4. There’s nothing he can allocate = তার কাছে বন্টন করার মত কিছুই নেই।

5. There’s nothing the scenery can allure = প্রলুব্ধ করার মত দৃশ্যটিতে কিছুই নেই।

How about + verb(ing) + extension-কেমন হয়।

How about learning computer?
কম্পিউটার শিখলে কেমন হয়?

How about reading newspaper?
পত্রিকা পড়লে কেমন হয়?

How about going home?
বাড়ি গেলে কেমন হয়?

How about learning english?
ইংরেজি শিখলে কেমন হয়?

★RULE:51
বাংলা শব্দের শেষে -তে প্রত্যয় থাকলে ইংরেজী করতে হলে তার আগে to যোগ করতে হয়। যেমন
Eat= খাওয়া, to eat= খাইতে
go = যাওয়া, to go = যাইতে
খাইতে আসো = Come to eat.
গুমাইতে যাও= Go to sleep. ........

★RULE:52
বাংলায় শব্দের শেষে -মান, কিংবা -অন্ত থাকলে ইংরেজি করার সময় তার সাথে ing যুক্ত হয়।
যেমন:-
ঘুমন্ত বালক= Sleeping boy.
চলন্ত ট্রেন= Moving Train.
উড়ন্ত পাখি= Flying Bird. ............

★RULE:53
বাংলা শব্দের শেষে যদি-- ইয়া-প্রত্যয় থাকে তবে ইংরেজী করার সময়
Having been+ V.P.P করতে হয়।
যেমন
পদত্যাগ করিয়া - Having been Resigned.
নির্বাচিত হইয়া -Having been elected.
শিক্ষিত হইয়া- Having been educated......................

★RULE:54
কোন কিছু ইচ্ছে হচ্ছে বা ইচ্ছে করছে প্রকাশ করতে চাইলে নিম্নরূপ হবে । Feel like+ V+ing

আমার চা পান করতে ইচ্ছে হচ্ছে=
I feel like drinking tea.
আমার ঘুমাইতে ইচ্ছে করছে =
I feel like sleeping.
আমার পড়তে ইচ্ছে হচ্ছে না=
I don't feel like reading......................

★RULE:55 বাংলা বাক্যে যদি "কিনা" টাইপের ভঙ্গি থাকে তাহলে ইংরেজী তে কিনার পরিবর্তে If ব্যবহার করতে হয়।

যেমন সে গিয়েছিলো কিনা/ আমি জানি না = I don't know if he went.

জানি না আমাকে তোমার মনে পড়ে কিনা, কিন্তু তুমি সবসময় আছো আমার কল্পনায় = I don't know if you recall me, but you are always in my contemplation.

★RULE:56
প্রতীক্ষায় আছি/অপেক্ষার প্রহর গুনছি - এই ধরনে ভঙ্গিতে বাক্য থাকলে তখন নিম্নরূপ হবে।
Looking forward to+ verb+ ing
যেমন:-
তোমার সাথে দেখা করার প্রতীক্ষায়
আছি - I am looking forward to meeting you.
আমি বাড়ি যাওয়ার অপেক্ষার প্রহর গুনছি- I am looking forward to going home........

কিছু করতে গিয়ে ও করতে পারেনি এমন বুঝাতে,,,
sub+ couldn't about to + verb 1 + obj.

I couldn't about to tell you.
আমি তোমাকে বলতে গিয়ে ও বলতে পারিনি।
I couldn't about to forget you.
আমি তোমাকে ভুলতে গিয়ে ও ভুলতে পারিনি।
I couldn't about to tell the truth.
আমি সত্যটা বলতে গিয়ে ও বলতে পারিনি।
He couldn't about to come.
সে আসতে চেয়েও আসতে পারেনি।

★RULE:58
I know +how to +v1

1. I know how to swim.
= আমি জানি কিভাবে সাঁতার কাটতে হয়।
2. I know how to cook.
= আমি জানি কিভাবে রান্না করতে হয়।
3. I know how to speak English.
= আমি জানি কিভাবে ইংরেজি বলতে হয়।

Do you know how to(তুমি কি জানো কিভাবে......?)

1. Do you know how to recite Holy Quran= তুমি কি জানো কিভাবে কুরআন তিলাওয়াত করতে হয়?
2. Do you know how to respect others?=তুমি কি জানো কিভাবে অন্যদের সম্মান করতে হয়।
3. Do you know how to talk Sweetly?= তুমি কি জানো কিভাবে সুমধুর ভাবে কথা বলতে হয়।
4. Do you know how to speak in English? তুমি কি জানো কিভাবে ইংরেজি তে কথা বলতে হয়?
5. Do you know how to play football?
তুমি কি জানো কিভাবে ফুটবল খেলতে হয়?

I cannot resist talking to my Mom.

ফ্যান না চালিয়ে আর থাকতে পারছি না।

নামায ছাড়িয়া আসলে লাভ নেই

Likely to= সম্ভাবনা আছে

আমাদের ঢাকা যাওয়ার সম্ভাবণা আছে= We are likely to go to Dhaka.

তুমি ও আমি বিকেলে ইংরেজি প্রাকটিস করার সম্ভাবনা আছে=I and you are likely to practice english in the afternoon.

তাদের আজকে পুকুরে মাছ ধরার সম্ভাবনা আছে=Today they are likely to catch fish in the pond.

এখানে বৃষ্টি হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা আছে= It is likely to rain here.

সে সকালে বাজারে যাওয়ার সম্ভাবণা আছে= He is likely to go to market in the morning.
