সাতকানিয়া সরকারি কলেজের রাষ্ট্রবিজ্ঞান বিভাগের অনার্স ৪র্থ বর্ষের মেধাবী ছাত্রী সোনিয়া আক্তার দারুনভাবে টিউমার রোগে আক্রান্ত।সে চট্টগ্রাম CSCR'এ ডা.হাসানুজ্জামান থেকে চিকিৎসাধীন ছিল।অনাতিবিলম্বে অপারেশনের জন্য ঢাকা নেওয়া খুবই জরুরি এবং এর জন্য বিপুল অর্থের প্রয়োজন কিন্তু পিতাহারা মেয়েটি টাকার অভাবে রোগের সাথে লড়াই করে পেরে উঠতে পারছেনা।
তাই অত্র কলেজের সকল ছাত্রছাত্রীর নিকট মানবিক আবেদন,তোমরা সাধ্যনুযায়ী সাহায্যের হাত বাড়িয়ে দাও।

Satkania Government College is one of the best college in Chittagong.It was established with the initiative of some generous and educated local people of Satkania and Lohagara. The interested local people raised funds and donated required lands for the purpose. They took the initiative amidst the chaotic situation of the Second World War. However, their dream came true when the college finally started working in 1949 with the name "Satkania College".
At the time of its establishment, there were only few colleges in greater Chittagong.
The college underwent a vast growth in the years that followed. Subsequently it was nationalized on the first April of 1981 when it was renamed as "Satkania Government College". Gradually the college assumed a central role in the academic pursuit of the region.
Now it offers courses under science, commerce and arts in the intermediate levels and bachelor (pass) courses under arts, science, commerce and social science groups and recently it start honours degree such as Math, English, Political Science, History,Management, Accounting,Islamic History and Culture under National University. Besides running academic activities, the college organizes sports, extra curricular and other recreational activities through out the year.
From the very beginning the college was able to attract students from distant places like Patiya, Chandanaish, Banshkhali, Chokoria, Cox’sBazar, Teknaf, Moheshkhali and other far-reaching places. The college demonstrated an inherent strength in its activities during its eventful existence since it was established.

পরীক্ষার্থী পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণ করে ।
