Farewell Party 2026 🌸

On 15 May 2026 (Friday), the Department of Civil Engineering, City University, will proudly organize the farewell ceremony for the students of the 22nd and 23rd Batch.

The end of one chapter always marks the beginning of a new journey. Carrying countless memories, challenges, friendships, laughter, and dreams from university life, our beloved students are now ready to step forward into a promising future. 💙

🏏 Sixer Cricket Tournament – Season 03 🏏
Organized by the Department of Civil Engineering and the Civil Engineering Students’ Association, the much-anticipated Sixer Cricket Tournament – Season 03 commenced on May 1.
The tournament concluded successfully through a series of exciting and competitive matches. Civil Warriors -27 emerged as the champions, while Civil Engineering Alumni became the runners-up.
The prize-giving ceremony was attended by respected faculty members, including Mr. Nazrul Islam, along with members of the Alumni Association. They presented trophies and prizes to both the champion and runner-up teams. Additionally, the “Man of the Match” awardees from each match were also honored during the ceremony.

সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের উদ্যোগে এবং সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস’ অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের আয়োজনে বহুল প্রতীক্ষিত সিক্সার ক্রিকেট টুর্নামেন্ট সিজন ০৩, আগামী পহেলা মে থেকে শুরু হতে যাচ্ছে।
এই উপলক্ষে আয়োজিত ট্রফি উন্মোচন অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের সম্মানিত বিভাগীয় প্রধান (হেড ম্যাডাম), অন্যান্য শিক্ষকবৃন্দ, এবং সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং স্টুডেন্টস’ অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সদস্যবৃন্দ।
অনুষ্ঠানে বিভাগীয় প্রধান ম্যাডাম আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে টুর্নামেন্টের ট্রফি উন্মোচন করেন।

ইন্না লিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহি রাজিউন।

আমাদের সিভিল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং ডিপার্টমেন্টের মেধাবী ছাত্রী শেখ শিফা ইয়াসমিনের অকাল মৃত্যুতে আমরা গভীরভাবে শোকাহত। সত্যিই, মৃত্যুর কোনো নির্দিষ্ট বয়স নেই,এটি যখন আসে, তখন সবকিছু থমকে যায়।

তার এই অকাল প্রয়াণ আমাদের হৃদয়ে এক গভীর শূন্যতার সৃষ্টি করেছে। আমরা মরহুমার আত্মার মাগফিরাত কামনা করছি এবং শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারের প্রতি জানাই গভীর সমবেদনা।

আল্লাহ তাআলা তাকে জান্নাতুল ফেরদৌস নসিব করুন এবং তার পরিবারকে এই শোক সহ্য করার শক্তি দান করুন। আমীন।🤲
